I was ambivalent to his hiring. Anyone brought in wouldn’t have full control with Rhule obviously. Not even mentioning Tepper. But our depth this year doesn’t seem to be anywhere close to what it should be. As much as people want to focus on big names and top picks, depth matters most in a playoff run when people start getting banged up. If the Panthers poo the bed this year I highly think it’s time for a GM change.

Gonna enjoy some football. But going down 0-2 in the division essentially means we’d have to wild card. In what was thought to be a weak division. That’s way way more pertinent than starting 0-2 Vs. Some AFC or other division teams.

Forgot our game was this early. Canes defeat Tampa 4–3 in an actual shootout, six shooters a piece.

Not a whole lot. Mostly that front has seemed to quiet down.

Doubt we see a system change. Now we have at least one excellent defensemen scorer on 2 lines, 2 decent on the 2nd line and TDA waiting in the wings. If anything we are doubling down.

Hey at least it isn’t CGI animated billboards around the hockey rink boards that sometimes cut players in half and make you lose sight of the puck… That said I agree. It would be great for a rewind play or a rewatch but too much going on can make things distracting and has the same issue as above if it’s a questionable play.

I actually am wondering if we are playing man defense too. We are definitely playing simple house on the PK. But I think man the rest of the time.

Pono has had some puck handling issues this period. He also didn’t follow up on a power play puck though that could have been because nobody rotated into his spot. He’s been playing the TT/Svech spot more in Svech’s spot though.
