This sounds to be more than hockey medical issue. I’m wondering if he does have cancer cells if they are going to do an abridged chemo to make sure everything is dead. If so we may probably not see him again this season. Further clarification. Might not be cancer but sounds more like a disease than anything hockey related. Something treatable though that will keep him away from hockey doesn’t air on the he’ll be playing again for a while though.

You must have never watched a Tom Brady, Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers game than. Difference is, all three of them could sling it down field when needed to.

Frankly I’m not sure he’s even a backup at this point. A lot can change as he matures, ages and progresses but what he’s putting on the field coupled with absolute crap play calling. Even dalton doesn’t want part of this. He looked livid near the end of the 4th there.
