TPS Graded All 31 First Rounders from 2023
Harbingers replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
F easily. Even with the inept coaching, bad OL, incompetent receivers the dude looked like pickles. -
Ya, I’m not holding my breath for Necas. He was in no contact at practice yesterday. Not to say that he can’t jump directly from no contact to a hame but. Also why do you think Orlov sits? I think nobody including the coaches wants TDA on the ice unless it’s the only option.
-
I should say too I actually prefer wild card round over the superbowl these days now that the panthers are on a major playoff draught.
-
No morning skate today. Necas may play but dunno, also no word if Perets is doing a practice skate with the goalie coach.
-
By far the best.
-
I agree on everyone but the cowboys and maybe eagles. Eagles are sliding at a bad time and the league clearly wanted GB in the playoffs.
-
Think anyone can get past Baltimore?
-
Here’s to hoping Raanta has turned the page cause I don’t know how you’d start Perets vs. the Kings. Like I said earlier I suspect Pyotr will be back for next Fridays game.
-
TDA with burns, Necas filling in for TT.
-
Welp… we now officially are practicing with an equipment manager in the second goal in practice…
-
I firmly believe it’s leadership. We have no leadership. Tepper comes from a cutthroat industry. If you don’t have an owner that’s willing to lead, how will you have anyone below him willing to follow. And not game of thrones this poo.

Meme Repository: Post 'em if you got 'em...

Not a meme but saving this for posterity’s sake. -
So rolling with the theory Pyotr is probably fine but in the protocol. We have the pens tomorrow and the kings two days later. Does Raanta get two in a row? Do we take a look at Perets? A limping but still very potent kings is not an ideal game to throw Perets in. Judging by Fasty it’s safe to say the protocol is about a week so I think Pyotr will be good to go next Friday.

I honestly think it’s all contingent on a cup and if rod re-signs(I expect him to… Daniel’s might have to go though, we’ll see what dundon is feeling). Aho will want TT back so that might factor into things as well. Must signs in my opinion are: Jarvis, Noesen, Chatty. Don’t forget about Pono either, he’s due his chance. So is Suzuki but that dude can just not stay healthy.

I have a really hard time seeing at least right now how we add Necas back in over Lemieux. Lemieux has been solid solid in all areas when he’s allowed by Rod.
-
Pesces eye roll on the fight was perfect. It’s not often you get a fight in Raleigh and the refs were right there for it and told Pesce to gtf out the way.
-
I think it’s pretty obvious Rod is planning on putting Jarvis in Staal’s spot when he decides to retire or at least taking a hard look at that potential right now.
-
Can’t get enough of Staal and Martinook jumping in to defend Jarvis. That’s some old school enforcer poo right there. The second shot of it on the broadcast with the metal in the background is just…
-
I think a bit of both, he was having trouble standing on his own so I think concussion protocol will come into play here. you can see at the at the :13 second mark he tries to stand and slides back down. His equilibrium was definitely off.
-
Ya, Pyotr has his head down looking for the puck and got his bell rung by orlov pushing the duck. Orlov gotta be careful that’s two Canes he’s taken out so far.
-
So I think it’s safe to say Pyotr is gonna be in the concussion protocol. Do we call up Perets again?

2023-24 Regular Season(non canes) thread
Harbingers replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Did this get checked? How was that not incredibly offsides. -
This is why we have Lemieux in. Also Staal and Martinook defending Jarvis was huge last night.
-
Ya I noticed this last night too.
