Finally hockey time. It’s been too long.

I think Jarvis wasn’t producing well on the first line even when we started swinging upwards. I think he’s a good fit on 3. That said I don’t like Martinook on 1, they never really seem to quite mesh. But perhaps it’s a reward for being mister January to see if he can jumpstart 1 5v5. As ABH said I’d prefer Noesen on One.

Ya he should be on 1 with this game and Colorado. We are going to rely on Aho to net front…

Lavalette says svech is still in no contact. I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’s a no tonight.

No svech most likely. He was still in yellow yesterday he did not participate in power play practice. That’s a pretty good indicator he’s a no. Apparently it’s a new injury to his UB side where he’s having a lot of pain during the shooting motion. Kochetkov practiced Sunday and yesterday. Freddie was working solo with the goalie coaches too. I assume they are doing morning skate today. We’ll see who is in the starter crease, if not we won’t know until game time.

Philly gets 4m and Jersey gets 2.2m. These teams picked these players knowing the rumors/situation. I don’t see why they should be awarded relief right before the trade deadline.

Honestly, that may be one of my favorite sports jerseys of all time. The rose plus hurricane is masterful. They really should let the canes wear it for a game.

I only watched Aho’s game and that was it, wanted to see how he looked with other line mates.

Plus the prize as a team was 1 million? Split that’s chump change to most of these guys. Especially when the skills winner gets 1 million themselves but the NHL gated the competition like dumbasses. Why would most of these guys even give a poo?

He had Wilson and Kaprizov. Everyone on that line is a passer so they spent most of it passing. He had plenty of breakaway opportunities that he didn’t even attempt.

Ya, only McKinnon’s line was really trying on Aho’s team. Aho had maybe only one high danger chance and he fanned on it. That game was literal the episode of South Park where the boys tried to lose at baseball so they didn’t have to spend the whole summer playing baseball. They could have empty netted the puck so many times in the final 2 minutes.

Hopefully he was with svech. If not we need to get him a handler.

Svech in no contact, Aho got a break day, no Martinook(maybe extended break for him), all 4 goalies on the ice. Skjei took out Pyotr at some point but he’s back on the ice after a minute according to Cory Lavalette.

Well there’s going to be a bye week for teams no matter what. This time they just lumped all the teams at the same time instead of doing rolling. That said I agree, it’s just not that entertaining on TV, most of the players especially those that have been there before don’t want to be there. I did laugh my ass off at Kucherov phoning it in. I know they keep changing the format to try and make it entertaining but it’s really not. Doing it during the playoffs would be the best avenue I think but then it gets into excluding the best players who inevitably will be on playoff teams which would upset the brand.
