It doesn't really matter where he wants to go at this point. It matter who wants to pay the trade tag Houston is proposing.

At that trade price tag being reported he isn't going anywhere and will most likely hold out if he really doesn't want to play in Houston.

Better to find a good trade for him than cut him outright this year I think. KK and a 2022 1st + 3rd wouldn't be horrible for Watson. Outside of Watson there are a lot of options out there KK could be traded for maximum value overall.

I couldn't care either way at this point. If we bring him in without offloading teddy though that's easily 40M on the cap this year and 40ish for the following 4 years. we'll see if they want to put that against the cap when they are trying to rebuild the OL and most of the defense still. I guess that is one of the perks of a College QB.
