  1. Oof. Reimer just not on his game. All three of there goals he should have gotten.
  2. Man Aho almost had that. He looked over his shoulder for a second to see if he had the pass there. Such a nice guy but should have dialed that one in.
  3. Reimer is trying but he looks so slow out there. Those are two goal he should have deflected so far.
  4. Ya, our defense has really been slumping since Dallas. Gotta find that groove. Reimer was def out of position on that one though, He should have gotten his glove to it.
  5. These projections on the glass are crazy. Not sure how I feel about them directly behind the goal. Kinda distracting. Edit: Or CG-Projectioned on those specific TV angles.
  6. Hoping this Defensive pairing works better. Seems like the solid way to go. I wouldn't split Fleury and Gardiner so its really the only other option.
  7. I think Rhule thought Cam wouldn't listen to him. Which was probably the biggest deciding factor in all of this. I do think cam would have balled out in this offense had he gotten his accuracy back together a little bit.
  8. I don't count it against teppers record but I do count it as a literal ownership season for him.
  9. The tweet literally reads "This IS year four" aka this will be his fourth season of ownership.
  10. That one is on Brady as much as it is Hurney. Teddy was Brady's guy from NO so Rhule went along with it and is also to blame. The only blame Hurney really gets is handing him a loaded contract to boot. Really in hindsight we should have just gone with Cam last year.
  11. That's why I quantified rumors. The only for sure we know is Detroit and Huston. I will say it really sounds like Rhule wants a plug and play QB right now, which he thought he had in Teddy but we all know how that went. Makes me think we want to trade back or draft elsewhere(in the event we don't get a trade QB).
  12. My other thought is Rod just isn’t happy with these defense and he doesn’t want to put Ned our to slaughter until the D improves.
  13. Yep, that's where I'm at too. These rumors make it sound like Rhule literally said "Go get me any quarterback, I don't care who."
  14. Would you drop the ax on Rhule if we are sub .500 this year again?
  15. Not really sure, maybe they want to get Reimer's confidence back up but i'm really starting to wonder if they don't think Ned can cut it and just have him as an injury backup. I don't know how trade's work this year with quarantining + calling up from other sources. But maybe we don't have anyone behind Ned we really trust at all. Or maybe they are hoping for an accelerated timetable on Mrazek.
  16. And three years of losing, plus an * in that tweet.
  17. Projected lineup. Looks like Reimer is getting the start again. Forwards Svechnikov-Aho-McGinn Niederreiter-Trocheck-Teravainen Dzingel-Staal-Foegele Martinook-Geekie-Fast Defensemen Slavin-Pesce Skjei-Hamilton Gardiner-Fleury Goalies Reimer Nedeljkovic
  18. COLUMBUS - It's the big game before the big game as the Carolina Hurricanes face off with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first half of a back-to-back set. The Match-Up Carolina Hurricanes (6-2-0, 12 points) at Columbus Blue Jackets (5-4-3, 13 points) Sunday, Feb. 7, 3 p.m. Watch: FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports GO Listen: 99.9 FM The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes app Ripping off @Zod format a bit. https://www.nhl.com/hurricanes/news/gameday-preview-carolina-hurricanes-columbus-blue-jackets/c-321164670 Looks like Necas will be out but Fast is returning to the lineup today. No predicted lineups and who's starting in goal out yet though.
  19. Why does it feel like us going after every trade is just them throwing poo at the wall until somthing sticks and not any calculated plan at all?
  20. Oh you know every smart investment firm dumped some liquidity into it on Tuesday/Wednesday and sold on Thursday at or around the peak. Easy little bump for them and probably why it got so high in the first place.
  21. "National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell has written President Biden to commit the use of every team stadium as a mass vaccination site. Goodell’s letter, addressed to Biden at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. and obtained by CNN, pledges that the league will work with federal and regional health officials to ensure each of the 32 NFL teams’ participation in the effort. “The NFL and our 32 member clubs are committed to doing our part to ensure that vaccines are as widely accessible in our communities as possible," Goodell wrote. “To that end, each NFL team will make its stadium available for mass vaccinations of the general public in coordination with local, state, and federal health officials." Goodell added: “We can expand our efforts to stadiums across the nation more effectively because many of our clubs have offered their facilities previously as Covid testing centers as well as election sites over the past several months.” Seven NFL clubs have already activated their stadiums or nearby sites as vaccination centers. The teams are: Arizona Cardinals (State Farm Stadium) Atlanta Falcons (Mercedes-Benz Stadium) Baltimore Ravens (M&T Bank Stadium) Carolina Panthers (Bank of America Stadium) Houston Texans (NRG Park) Miami Dolphins (Hard Rock Stadium) New England Patriots (Gillette Stadium)" Good to see Tepper was ahead of the curve on this one.
  22. That awesome. I'm curious to see what the job will entail. Kinda sounds like they are grooming him for a GM job in the future.
