  1. Ned psyched himself out of that shutout and he knew it.
  2. How no empty net goal... so many attempts.
  3. Smooth, calm & in control in the crease tonight.
  4. Holy fug the shots on goal in the last 1-2 minutes.
  5. That one redwing was way lucky too. That puck was inches from his face.
  6. Solid period by Ned. He was hung out to dry a few times.
  7. Ya especially with them having some steam from that last win.
  8. Best meat pie I ever had was in NZ. Fugging insane. If I ever make it to Australia I will certainly be doing a tour of meat pies. It looks similar to this.
  9. Aho, Tro, Necas and Dougie. Though people say Dougie is having an off year after the injury he’s still statistically our best Dman in most areas and top 20 in the league.
  10. I thought Waivers were two days in the NHL but apparently I was mistaken. Little bit of cap wiggle room opened up.
  11. DETROIT - Riding a seven-game winning streak, the Carolina Hurricanes hit the road for a two-game set against the Detroit Red Wings. 12. Oh I agree, but a rebuild team with cap space as a future investment would be a logical decision.
  13. Ribs or worse stuff under it. If its just ribs probably weeks. Pure twitter speculation though.
  14. I didn't see anything that looked super serious last game. Not good.
  15. I think if we don't sign Dougie by then he's as good as gone unfortunately. If not we really can't protect both Nino and Tro, if we do resign Dougie... Oof. Nino, Foegele and Tro open in the most likely scenerio. I do not want to lose either Nino or especially Tro. They are playing absurdly good right now but Tro is just out of this world and statistically our best player.
  16. We’ll have 6 on D unless there is an injury I missed but I wouldn’t be surprised if we call up Ryan to travel with us in case for these two days though. The more I think about it the more I think Gardiner is going to be the cap casualty after this year in any scenario involving Dougie. Though I do personally really like Gardiners play when he’s on the ice. He’s one of our better blue line guards while we are in the offensive zone.
  17. Fleury is eligible no matter what. Still waiting for clarification on the wording of this draft because if they did change it to "NHL Players/Professionals" bean won't be eligible. He would if its "Professional Players" though from the two seasons with the Checkers + this year. But like I said in the one thread in the super long breakdown. We are going to have a much much higher value target available from the forwards no matter what. I wouldn't worry about Fleury or Bean much at all unless the Kraken's GM targets them specifically over who ever is high value we are forced to leave open.
  18. I almost have a feeling they are hoping he'll be grabbed so they can meet Dougie's demand and sign Jake Bean who is also up this off season as an RFA.
  19. Ya I don't see TT coming back for a month at least. The fact he was cleared and then experienced symptoms again is not a good sign.
  20. Saw something like this coming. Not sure how it works with his limited no trade contract. Kinda worried he's not going to pass waivers for us though. Would have been better to trade him in that case. In the trade case he can pick 7 teams he doesn't want to go to under the M-NTC. Maybe we did try to shop him and no team on his accepted list wanted him? Of course people are conspiracy hat claiming this is a way to get Eric Staal. I just don't see it. We simply don't have the opening for another center except maybe fourth line but I'd honestly rather have the young bloods getting experience there. I mean we already have 3 C's manning our entire 4th line currently. Also; Figured. Also there are fans asking about Staal and Paquette who both didn't finish the game on Thursday. They both practiced fully today. So not sure if that's something to read into or not. Staal has definitely taken a beat recently, that's for sure.
