I do like this from Rhule. I feel he was a bit too open last year or maybe that was a symptom of hurney.

Last night wasn’t to bad until the third but our pass game was horrible and we could not get out of our zone at all.

I do think he was onsides. That penalty against Aho though. If Aho wasn’t such a nice guy he should have cold clocked the redwings ass.

I think one of our biggest issues is we aren’t Playing Dougie with Aho. This new pickup should alleviate that mismatch.

Ya agreed. I think it was more about getting some speed opposite Foegele this game cause foegele had an excellent period despite no goals.

Martinook was tired too that last stretch. Not sure he can run with the Aho line.

Lot of mixed opinions on twitter the pick is a sixth round. So Waddell gave up a bit in future return. A stay at home heavy hitting D is gonna be good for our third line. I’d rather pair him with bean than Gardiner though. Gardiner is also more of a stay at home guy. We could see Rod blow up the lines though if Gardiner and Joni are in. We are really banking/hedging our bets on TT coming back though. Was kinda hoping we’d send fleury and a pick to CBJ for Laine just to be sure. And just a pick for someone like Joni.

Hakanpaa is third in the league in hits. Looks like we are trying to get more physical.

He was the move target. We couldn’t protect him and everyone thinks Seattle is going to take him because he’s a Francis project. I don’t necessarily agree with the move but we hedged bets and tried to get something out of it. I think it was a 4th we got out of it too.
