True but we got a 4 point lead so it basically equals out. Losing control of our destiny though, no fun. -

Now tied with Vegas for the max possible. That was some lame ass play by our guys in OT besides Aho and Slavin. Tro and Svech on the ice again... starting to see a pattern here. -

Well it appears Mrazek is in game shape. Despite not having a practice before a game until this morning. Our last practice/morning skate was last Saturday. -
I mean... "Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich has been suspended one game for high-sticking Anthony Mantha of the Capitals. During the second period of Wednesday night’s Washington win, Mantha was on the receiving end of a check near the boards by Buchnevich. When the Capitals forward got up he proceeded to tap Buchnevich with his stick several times, which earned him an unsportsmanlike conduct minor. As the play moved down the other end, Mantha attempted to engage with Buchnevich, who in response struck Mantha in the face with force. Buchnevich was given a major for cross-checking and a game misconduct. Mantha remained in the game, and Buchnevich added to the game’s penalty minutes total, which ended up at 141 combined. The game opened with both sets of forwards squaring off and 72 penalty minutes assessed in the opening four minutes of the first period. Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Buchnevich will lose $28,017.24 in salary for the one-game ban. The money benefit the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund." https://nhl.nbcsports.com/2021/05/06/pavel-buchnevich-suspended-one-game-for-high-sticking-capitals-mantha/ Just a joke at this point.

High IQ: When he returned to the lineup on April 27 in Dallas, Teuvo Teravainen was reunited on a line with Aho and Andrei Svechnikov. In the five games since, that dynamic trio has combined for 26 points (9g, 17a). Have been thinking the same thing today. Hope one(Or more) of them gets payoff for all grinding the past stretch. Trocheck too. He’s due for a tip in. -
If the message came from the ownership of the Rangers I don’t see this ending well for the NHL. It’s obvious they didn’t want to take Wilson out before the playoffs. The players taking measure into their own hands. To the point Washington pulled Wilson as “injured” but it’s obvious it was for his safety or the Rangers safety and poo just kept getting ugly.

I’m gonna have to look that up. The fight in the Vegas, Minnesota game was an epic heavyweight championship. They let them go for probably too long but was still a really clean fight.

I agree. I’d rather see the stars split with Tampa though and tonight’s the night to do it unless Nashville fugs up vs The Blue Jackets: Best case scenario is nashville has already clinched by the time we play. And Tampa loses one going into their season capper with Florida. Minnesota is outplaying Vegas right now. I think Colorado is going to be the only challenge for the presidents cup because they literally are playing the dregs of the west except for once Vs. Vegas. Of course we control the destiny for the entire NHL currently, so as long as we keep getting points we are good. -

Was really hoping Svech would get a hat trick. I guess there’s still time but way to make them pay for pulling their goalie Necas. -

Also what’s up with our defensive lines. We had two righties out then Slavin and Pesce. Did Skjei get hurt again?
