It’s so pathetically quiet. There’s supposedly 9K of them too.

Basically this but my optimistic take is 9-8/10-7.

Something a little different today.

Besides the Aho call and maybe the Staal interference all of them were warranted. I think maybe one on night one I’d dispute. Though Nashville was playing to draw penalties. They had a clear too many men on the ice that wasn’t called as well yesterday. Not sure how you adjust that. If “Smashville” actually played physical yesterday almost none of our penalties would have been called but they set the bar way lower and the refs were happy to oblige.

No practice updates by the PR team or the Beat Writers. Guessing we probably are doing a rehab and rest day before we fly to Nashville later I imagine.

Ummm, not sure how I feel about the TBD, sounds like they might be trying to push it.

Not bullied for sure, though I won’t trust any NHL officiating crew that steps on the ice for a Boston/Carolina playoff series for a long time.

I’ve really been hoping for an Av’s-Cane’s cup final this year even with the Av’s home ice advantage in that scenario. I think it would be pretty damn epic.

Their forecheck at the end of that last period has me slightly concerned with the fact Skjei and Pesce have played 20 each already cause of the penalty kill. If there was a game we needed Slavin it’s this one.

Of course Washington and Boston are in OT again.
