  1. Might as see if we can trade him for a 7th rounder.
  2. I don’t see any way we can work Eichel and still have enough left over to cover our bases. Even if we do buyout/LTIR Gardiner and trade trocheck or Nino.
  3. In all seriousness though. Yes. I don’t think we can carry him at CB. Too much competition, he doesn’t seem to have the proper physique and skill set to play CB.
  4. He took the outside/high leverage really nice there even though he was slightly off balance.
  5. Sometimes a change of venue is exactly what’s needed.
  6. Why we didn’t draft a true C to replace Paradis I’ll never know.
  7. What Steve smith said. Why are we running fancy football in the preseason?
  8. Oof, only 4.5M. Hopefully they can round out our forwards with that.
  9. Excellent. Now how much cap space do we have left to play with before camp starts up?
  10. He’s not vaccinated. They are going to implement a vaccine rule in the nfl here in the next couple weeks now that it is authorized.
  11. To think it doesn’t is madness. He we could have gotten that down to 18-20 with a full guarantee. Now 22 is the low end.
  12. I’m not going to follow every player and every waiver wire event. Especially with this iteration of this team. But the fact still remains. There were plenty of kickers on the wire during FA that we could have picked up for a camp job. I mean, and I like Slye, but really? The dude shanks everything. You can’t win a superb owl with that. Give him a little competition, some kind of metric if you want to put it in analytic terms. Or else we will literally be sitting where we were in 2019, with him shanking everything.
  13. It means no extension. That’s the point. Ya we can keep him around for 2-3 years. But If we get that far he’s gonna make TOP dollar.
  14. 22+ at this point. So by paying a lower albeit productive player 30~ we are only going to drive up DJ’s price in house. When we probably could have locked him down long term for 18-20.
  15. The dude maxed at 3,000 yards in his best season. To jump to he’s going to throw for 4,500 yards is just not feasible.
  16. Opportunity being the key word. Though the way our OL has been trending I’d chalk most of it up to luck.
  17. I’m no darnold hater but you are saying he’s gonna he Brady+mahomes+Manning in one, in the first season here. You gotta temper your opinion of someone to what is reasonable, only than you can be surprised if they do better.
  18. And you are just signing off on darnold as a competent QB? He threw for 2.2 last season. Teddy was at his average(minus the knee of course).
