11/3 Game Thread, Canes @ Blackhawks
Harbingers replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Well he swapped KK to the third line. So maybe he didn’t like what he was seeing from the 2-3 lines against Arizona. So let Marty feed Aho and TT. See if KK doesn’t spark the Staal line. -
Ugh our first later game, at least it’s not as bad as next week when we make our pacific trip. Andersen in Net, Marty up with Aho according to the projected lineup. Fleury is in net for them. Kane is back for Chicago and of course DeBrincat, with them at home I don’t expect them to roll over as easy as they did in Raleigh.

Touches don’t matter. Plays do. He’s our best backfield blocker. Those plays put as much wear on him as rushing does.

Does a corvette drop its engine block these days on a front end collision, that would only make sense how it looks. Also you gotta think the other side of the RAV4 is probably nonexistent at this point so if there was anyone in the passenger side back seat.
-
Honestly, they looked fine with their backup QB.

Hurricanes 2021-2022 Season Games Thread

Only the third star for Freddy, behind Ovechkin and McDavid. -
Had that been a playoff game you take it to the 5 and run out the clock.
-
True but it’s also TB12. Though he doesn’t look to have this one.
-
Giving the ball back to Brady is not usually recommended.
-
That saint should have laid down at the 1 though.
-
Two minute two can’t shoot them like he used to.
-
This saints offense is exactly what Brady is trying to run. Ouch.
-
He definitely made a football move with full possession. Two+ steps before he lost it. League was in on it as well.
-
Concussion I believe.
-
I’m pretty sure Payton has found his next drew brees.
-
Ummm who is NO backup? This dude is fugging good.

Genuinely wondering about the fairness of the refs today.

Through the ground. Yes. -

I can think of half a dozen times this rule came into our favor. You have to complete the catch Through the ground. Moore did not maintain possession through the ground. -
If he gets out of that with no major structural damage he’s one hell of a lucky guy.

Won’t post but it’s up on Twitter. His leg bent very very far at the knee. Would not be surprised if the MCL and ACL are done if not more. Probably on the way to the hospital right now.
-
Just saw it, won’t post it. Yes he’s done for the year. Probably on the way to the hospital right now. His leg basically looked to break off at the knee. If he comes out of that with no major damage I’d be very surprised.
-
So what your saying is they are gonna trade for Watson.

They usually are bad especially if you watch more games in a week than ours, other teams get poo refs too, I don’t think today for us was horrible though. Granted I wasn’t giving the game 100% of my attention but I didn’t see much besides them missing a call of helmet contact when Sam slide, not the original hit but after he was down and the play was blown another falcon definitely gave him a knee to the head. -
Should have kept both. Getting rid of an elite corner like Bradberry was just ill sighted to say the least.

Ya, when I heard Shaq was back that was a huge sigh of relief. This team just doesn’t have depth and we can’t bring in a Gilmore to cover every single injury.
