    Where is Martinook? Separate IR list? I thought we had our Chatfield on short term IR though.

    Ya we ain’t playing until the 27th at the earliest.

    I don’t see Stepan being around that long. Fast Drury and Poturalski if the league can get the salary cap moving up should be no issue at all.

    10 games played before he hits waivers being sent back down to the AHL I believe. So we can only keep him up for 8 more games before he becomes waiver active and we may need him later in the season.

    If we bring anyone up to replace Necas it’ll be Poturalski.

    Doubtful. We don’t want him hitting waivers. Only way he’d come up is if people are out for months. Martinook will probably replace Necas, if his injury was any more severe than what we guess he would have been put on LTIR. So I think Marty is on track for a early January return.

    Honestly I have no idea, but from the few media clippings on the matter it seems Rhule is safe for another year.

    Robby needs to go and take Rhule with him.

    I will say I didn’t get to see much of today’s game but the dysfunction on all three phases was palpable when I did. I thought Rhule would be bad from the onset, but not this bad.

    I’m resigned to the fact we will have Rhule for another year at this point unless Tepper gives the fans a miracle Holiday present.

    So I don’t think we play until Florida comes to town? Right NHL… Right?! There is no reason we should be crossing the border for one game before the holidays.

    Gonna have to rewatch the game in the AM but from the bits and pieces I could catch it sounds like KK was taking control and being a leader. I like that. Also was Jack’s goal EN or did he get another one?

    I mean Rod did get coach of the year… but ya it better be a whole story line later in the season.

    Busy up tonight but saw that hit. Necas was seriously concussed. If we see him before mid January I’d be surprised.

    Sounds like Boston is out.

    I think we play tomorrow, maybe Sunday before they end up shutting us down. Even though I know they want us to play Boston.

    He needed a break after the games we put him through up in Canada. 23 minutes should be the maximum Slavin is on the ice in a worst case scenario these days. 20-21 should be the target.
