  1. I think this may be David’s lowest point. And that’s saying something. He’s lost any shred of credibility he had. I wonder how much Rhules camp paid him to write this crap. If you watch the clips it’s Clearly “Fire Rhule”. “The fanbase also seems to back Rhule, as the crowd was cheering "Fore Rhule" at the last home game and fans were even chanting that a Charlotte Hornets game this past week.”
  2. KK is definitely a C replacement for the future for either Tro or Staal. Could see that when we made that move. The issue with Staal is his NTC and the he still has 1 year left. We have Fast locked until Staal’s contract is up so that’s a nonissue. Tro or Nino is what it’s going to come down to this off-season. Nino is gonna have some big suitors too, probably even more so than Tro.
  3. You know Rhule is moving ahead like he’s the coach, I’m assuming this was from his camp. I’m not holding my breath but also slightly optimistic Tepper will see the light come Black Monday.
  4. You could tell Calgary was gonna score first they busted ass at the beginning while we didn’t really get our game set until the end of the first. But you could tell we were intent on controlling that game. I can’t say enough about our grinders. Staal may not have a goal(goals this season) but his tempo was insanely good last night. Fast is just so underrated, that dude is everywhere and always in perfect position. Lorentz grind was good. Nino is a fugging possession god. I hate to say it but Staal probably has to be the odd man out when contracts come up again. We gotta keep Fast and Nino.
  5. So in person perspective:, yet again Fast is insanely good at the game we play. Nino needs to be in on double shift. Honestly I’d like to see Lorentz make the jump. He pushes hard but doesn’t make the Staal jump.
  6. At the game. Took us easily until the last 3-4 minutes of the first to wake up. We have dominated since.
  7. I think so. Some people think he’s gonna he out for a while. I think he’s 15-20ish of January.
  8. Full roster as it’s listed so far, apparently Nino took a puck to a knee in practice Wednesday and Tro(I think) took one to the face yesterday, cut up under his eye pretty good. Svech still dealing with a finger issue was exasperated yesterday too. But all should be good to play. Andersen was in the starters crease for morning skate. So it sounds like he’ll be starting back to back. Feel like the coaches don’t have a lot of confidence in Raanta right now. Let’s go get the W at home.
  9. Again like I said in another thread there is an out after next year. I think the injury stuff is also more on this staff than CMC. If you put him in a legit operation he’ll be fine.
  10. If we keep Rhule I’m fine with sending him to a competitor. If we get a new coach(and training staff) that’s up to them but I’d keep him.
  11. 14 million with a potential out after next year for a team with deep playoff aspirations? Ya, I’m sure there could be a buyer for CMC.
  12. Almost any team would take CMC at this point. They are probably chalking his injury ridden seasons to inept coaching and training. Robby however… he ain’t going nowhere unless we give up picks.
  13. Fair point but they are going to look to pare cost down somewhere though. I don’t know know how they pay their beat writers, if they are salaried or freelance(words written) but my thought was if a city has 10 sports teams, they could go from 10 writers down to 5 for smaller markets. But ya they could start at the top since the NYT may want to inject their people in there too. I don’t know where else they cut costs besides buildings & server infrastructure(will probably be integrated into NYT mainframe). Im assuming since The Athletic are losing their ass right now NYT will add it to their normal subscription for base level content and keep exclusives for more on the athletic side. While hoping the base level content will drive up clicks and subscriptions.
  14. Obviously they aren’t going to shut them down but they will probably cut a lot of beat writers to start.
  15. Surprising being that they are the second best PA’s in the game.
  16. He’s still going to get paid in grievances, possibly even a civil suit here, either way if his contract had a lot of stipulations. So adding him to a reserve would only be to rub salt in the wound.
  17. Just put a Super Bowl in Green Bay in the the middle of February. Come on NFL, I dare you.
  18. He needs to get a full psychology evaluation and probably have a guardian 24/7. The dude has got some serious CTE issues and he’s only in his early 30’s though part of yesterday could be what ever pain killers he was hopped up on for his ankle. He was only signed by the bucs because Brady wanted him specifically. Regarding the NFLPA though I would not be surprised if they submit a grievance against the Bucs soon based on the reporting AB said he couldn’t play due to injury and the team basically saying “you’re lying, fug you.” There is most likely some merit to that and not what an organization wants to be dealing with during a playoff run. Would not be surprised if AB would win something like that. Not getting hired in the future? No not a chance.
  19. The way the Brady cut happened too according to Rhule makes me thing Brady was more than ready to cut bait here, without it just being him quitting. I’m sure if he did an anonymous interview now we’d probably hear some serious poo that went on.
  20. It makes you wonder if Brady was actually curtailed by Rhule and his lackeys into running such a shitty playbook because it’s their style and if he balls out where ever he goes next.
  21. I bet he hasn’t even been looking yet, he’s probably holding out for a coaching regime change in the NFL with a collage fallback spot.
