    Lyon was also just reassigned to the wolves so I’m assuming Freddie is good to go today. Don’t know if him or Raanta will be in net though. Either way, today is today let’s not have a trap game and go the the W at home!

    I think that may have been the best hockey game I’ve watched this season so far. Maybe because I was hockey deprived for a week and a half but.

    Solid win against a hockey team that’s better than they usually play. Excellent effort by Raanta. He was moving the quickest and sharpest I’ve seen from him this season. Now we got some big dogs coming to town if I’m not mistaken. We best be ready.

    Hell of a forecheck by the Canes after they took the lead. Refs basically put this game on ice.

    Hell of a job by TT finding that puck to begin with. Rebound low glove side seems the best vs. Grubauer.

    Game pace has gone extreme this period.

    Honestly Raanta has actually looked like an NHL goalie tonight.

    Eventless first period. Svech got called for a slash. Which didn’t really change the game at all. We spent about as much time in their zone as they did ours. Both teams have had some stupidly good high danger chances but both goalies showed up tonight.

    All other points aside I can’t hate on ovenchkin too bad. He straight up called Putin out over the Ukrainian invasion.
