  1. Ya exactly. I love this rook and he’s gonna be our goalie for years to come but I don’t know if he’s NHL playoff material yet. If Raanta can get us through this one and if Freddie can make a return to early season performance I’ll be happy, and you know what. If we have to go to the rook I don’t think he’ll disappoint either but I don’t want the front 5 to have to work that much harder at this point. You could see they we’re just finding their playoff legs last night. It’s gonna be a long road to go, through some very tough oppentents.
  2. @TrevorLaurenceTime22 let’s just hope we don’t like 23 through in the first half(actually less) again. That was by far the biggest number that stood out to me.
  3. I’ll have to disagree with you. I think they’ll be about par for the course of last night. We don’t let a lot through up the middle or in screens when we are on our game but we do let a poo ton through from the sides. I think about 35 over/under is what we are looking at from Boston through this series. The rest I absolutely agree on which is also a symptom of the above. I hope old boy can hold out cause I thought he was done for after 2 1/2 last night. But if svech can keep that forecheck up, holy fugging witches tits. Aho will find his goals but he is so damn good in the neutral zone I don’t even care. Aho if you just watch him(I told my lady to early when I took her to PNC this spring) he is a master class on hockey and probably the only person better than Fast in the neutral zone on our team. The dude is peak finesse but I digress.
  4. Man I hope Raanta can stand in his head again. But than the rook gets the road games and Freddie will hopefully be back by than.
  5. Nobody wants you here dude. Get the message.
  6. Nope. Also I’d highly recommend you research what yin and yang means.
  7. FYI @Panthers Fan 69 your on thread making duty until we lose. Buckle up.
  8. Aho is the must unselfish dude in the history of history. Nicest. Guy. Ever.
  9. Willis was all about the Tripp crowd favorite phrases beside the “everyone’s a canes fan” shtick Tripp does. They were subtle but you could tell he’s really trying his hardest. For someone who arguably probably has a bigger drug/alcohol problem than Tripp. I’ll give him credit for last night. Also as you put it, the big rig, was really really good last night seems to be upping his game so to speak.
  10. Did anyone else notice Willis pulling some Tripp idioms last night?
  11. Jarvis is gonna be something special. Wait until he has a few year under his belt and a few more pounds. With Aho locked up for 5(I think) more and svech for 6 more our top line is going to become the most vaunted top line in the NHL. That double screen on the first goal was insanely good and that tip for Jarvis to find the 5 hole was incredible.
  12. Holy fug, there was 90 hits in that game? Wow.
  13. If you can’t appreciate the performance he put on last night as it’s own singular entity, you are useless and helpless. Even I said he gave up 3, that’s fair, but the saves he did make, especially when you are looking at 25+ shots in the first 30 minutes is quite good and he was laying it out there and playing to the peak of his ability. You can be critical while not being an absolute douche.
  14. Ok. If you can’t enjoy the head stands he was doing, nobody can help you.
