We played insanely well despite the ice conditions. That said fug the refs for calling that puck dead, they owe us big time this game and I’m pretty sure the NHL is gonna tell them. “Take it to game seven. Take it to game seven.” So now we got to beat the league, the bruins and the ice. Plus Aho is definitely concussed, but he ain’t coming out of this game come hell or high water.

Was listening to their fanbase call in earlier on SeriusXM NHL. The sky is falling in New York.

And now they have a basketball game tonight there too. Fun.

While I agree that’s the main component there is definitely something going on with the ice in Boston. The players we’re slipping all over the place in both games. The amount of times both teams were racing with the puck down the ice and suddenly went down to a knee with no contact cause they lost an edge. The constant bouncing of the puck too. It’s just weird and I’m not implying Boston is doing it purposely. I just feel there’s something just quite not right with the ice temp/quality. I’m gonna keep an eye out tomorrow cause I feel like the ice wasn’t even that fresh and shiny after the intermissions either but that may just be in my head.

Raanta was a beast.

The Staal line is absurdly good at puck movement and generally just taking away all of the perfection lines strengths. Notice how there aren’t even hardly any big hits. They are just so good at boxing out and finesse.

This is one of the highest viewed series in the NHL first round playoff history, you know they are gonna drag it out as long as you can.

Two things. We definitely have the loudest house I’ve heard in the playoffs this year(haven’t watch the west coast or minny games) Colorado and us are pretty damn close but. And I’m not talking about goal scoring or big saves I’m talking continuous noise. And second, Aho is getting mean. I never thought I’d see the day. I’m pretty sure he has the most hits today.

Did Aho get a point on that?

When can McAvoy return, game 7? 5 days? Or is it 2 negative tests in a row. If he has it I’m worried what’s going to happen to us if this series drags on.
