Donny Wads said Fasty does not have a concussion, “more of a neck strain”… Either him or Rod confirmed Fasty is out game 1 at least. With RBA saying “until he gets in a practice you can pretty much rule him out”.

Isles are practicing somewhere(I think NY). Dobson is back. Barzal is back. Engvall is back. Looks like both teams will have relatively full healthy complements for game one. Fasty excluded most likely.

@Anybodyhome what’s the rule if say… Either side pulls a goalie, or goalie injury, etc and someone picked a goalie by name. IE: a goalie pitched a shutout but leaves due to injury, and the other team scores on the replacement. Should we add a caveat goalie must finish the game to be considered for a shutout? Or should we just consider it by team shutout? Sorry to throw a wrench in there.

Full schedules out. Looks like Tampa v. Florida is the only series with every other day in the East. Bruins/Leafs, Caps/Rags and Us all have at least one 2 day break in the first 4/whole series.

Canes practicing again at 11:00~ today. I assume the islanders are already in town and will practice today since it’s a 5:00PM start tomorrow.

Fun fact: We finished the year $7,050 below cap. Through cap magic we had $507,050 but were able to move pieces around get the rooks signed and make sure all of Jarvy’s perf. bonus was paid this year instead of rolling some of it over.

Ya I did notice that too. Not a huge fan of not having our hardest grinder and playoff goal leader from last playoffs in there for game one… but such is sports.
