I really doubt that. Our main rival these days. Neither team will want to do the other any flavors.

Hopefully we can get him without moving any active pieces. Though depending on his price tag… we have a lot of contracts coming up in the next two years. One of which is aho who is probably going to command 10-12M. Really in two offseason. So many of our core are up for contract in 2024-2025 season.

As he is UFA though only a team that needs a goalie for a playoff run would be interested though. If SJS is our target trading partner we’d have to find a third party still in the race that needs a goalie and would be willing to work out a deal.

I watched the third all the way through last night(yay 7PM games), and I didn’t even feel like they had 16 SOG’s, we definitely were in control. Andersen getting some work in is good to see too. I’ll have to look up and see how many high dangers they had last night.

3-4 is a shitty defense and this will be a running issue through his tenure here.

As for current standings we definitely have their hardest SOS currently. NJ is decently hard, Rangers is meh hard. I count 13/27 remaining games against teams that are guaranteed a playoff spot unless their wheels absolutely fall off. And only 5 games like I said that are against teams that basically have no shot at contention. So that leaves our 9 remain games vs teams that are fight for a wild card.
