    This right here is why I’m not worried that we didn’t grab a star. Your top three lines in the top 10 for X goals is stupidly stupidly good. That doesn’t happen. Honestly I’m surprised out of all the lines we have the Staal line has the highest Xgoals against.

    I’m not. Teams know we are stacked already. Asking for Jarvis or Necas is reasonable. I’m not as much on the big trade train as the rest of the board. Rod system I think would prohibit big play a bit. We tried bringing in someone like Domi and he did what exactly? He didn’t mesh. We need team players that will strengthen our core. Not a stand out that will inhibit it.

    I feel like Rod wants system players. Every time we go for a decent trade splash it just doesn’t seem like that player meshes well. Since we didn’t get Timo I think they moved to a different approach.
