I can’t help but feel if this was us we’d be up right now. Devils have been lackluster on shots.

They started getting some decent rushes late. If they can capitalize on the remainder of this penalty they might be able to shake Shesterkin up a bit.

More than 3. The Hockey Guy’s entire recaps was basically well the canes almost scored there. Which for him means we should have scored. I counted at least 8 of those from him.

So here’s my recap. What I liked: Our level of physicality, finishing hits. PP1 Unit. Raanta, especially his tracking of long pucks. What I didn’t like: Not finding the net 5v5 especially with a poo ton of high dangers. Our defense collapsing in the first period around Raanta. We usually don’t play house. We need to make these high dangers goals vs. good goalies, if we can do that the sky’s the limit.

This was a common tactic last night. I assume to stop us cycling. But it was definitely ridiculous, at some point you gotta call it something. It happened at least a dozen times. Luckily we didn’t let it get to us. Also wtf was up with the islanders sticks, those things were breaking left and right.

Would say puck luck. But we had a few of these on our side too. Gotta capitalize on these over the next few games.

If baker couldn’t throw over our line what do we expect from a rookie? People here were spoiled with cam’s height.
