Raanta is the only goalie we have that doesn’t have a 5 hole issue. Sigh… I think 4 of their past 9 goals have been 5 hole.

I think the ESPN overall production quality is better, but ya side show and NBC did showcase the prestige of the sport much better.

I really wish Bally had a pregame show too. Sports center gave :30 seconds to hockey and now 5 minutes to basketball… after the 5 minutes of basketball they just talked about.

It was a segment on NHL radio. Basically, that ESPN fuged up. I can elaborate more later.

So a Chicago beat writer just basically proved the draft is rigged, in trying to say it’s not rigged.

Rod needs to calm them down. I dunno if we get Andersen or Raanta in net tonight but we need to keep the game in front of us. We have been getting pucks in net. Which means less shots or errant passes needed. With last change they were able to exploit our ailing defensemen. We need to play like we did in the first two games allowing our defense to fall back to our blue line at the first sign of trouble and letting our 3 forwards handle the offense. If we get set and cycling then we can pinch the D up. We just played bad on Sunday, coupled with them fighting for their playoff lives was not good.

Sounds like Raanta is not a sure bet tomorrow upon listening to rods presser. Freddie needs a comeback game too. We simply need a better game plan. The goals will come for us, our system has to go into full effect.

Thinking back on it, I’m 50/50 on pulling Freddie. Ya he sucked and was half asleep most of the time, I don’t think he would have given up another 4 though. Raanta needs to start tomorrow. And maybe Thursday. Need to go see if Raanta had the starters crease today. Koch needs to spend the entire offseason working on his lower half if he wants to be an elite goalie.

I mean last year he put up decent points and goals. 36 points in 65 games, 14 goals, 22 assists. So unless he was on Edmonton's PP1 with McConner and the German there is definitely potential there.

I think pool can be better, he needs a full offseason to develop into our system though the kid just looks lost out there on everything but rushing the puck in. I also have no idea why he doesn’t hit.

To be fair our defense kept us far in games one and two. I think rod was sending a message this game. Goalies gotta step up. Can’t always relay on last change defense.

That said. Koch cannot be trusted.

Also I do not believe our boys are going to take 8 against well. I expect hell to pay Tuesday.
