Definition: “having the necessary ability, knowledge, or skill to do something successfully” He was drafted number one. He’s a cerebral as fug. Nobody ever quested that. His only mark is his build/frame/stature. What ever you call it. Your really saying Bryce Young isn’t competent? Your saying he doesn’t have the brain to achieve success? That’s like saying Connor Bedard isn’t competent at hockey even though he’s the most sought after #1 pick since probably Patrick Kane, maybe even Crosby(2007, 2005, respectively).
