Then we get 4M in cap and a huge trading chip. Bigger than either Pesce or Skjei this season. Now is not the season to be trading pieces. Since bettman absolutely fugged the cap the past few years.

We need to position ourselves to flip Drury(sorry dude) at the deadline, get someone who is injured but we know will deliver. Cheat the cap. His point on SJS not taking 40% and EK’s issues remains valid though. Especially on a team like this. As much as most canes fans bitch and moan we are not a “the guy” team. Pick TDA up and call it good until the deadline.

Pesce is not up for a resign until next year. He’s either a trade or he stays. Same with Skjei.
