    His point on SJS not taking 40% and EK’s issues remains valid though. Especially on a team like this. As much as most canes fans bitch and moan we are not a “the guy” team. Pick TDA up and call it good until the deadline.

    Pesce is not up for a resign until next year. He’s either a trade or he stays. Same with Skjei.

    That was before he was brought into the lineup due to svech if I’m not mistaken.

    I disagree on Drury. He’s definitely our best trade deadline asset. Keep him until then in case we get another svech type injury. And pull the playoff cap trick.

    This one is weird as fug for us and not exactly what I want on L4 but… between svech and him & orlov some people gonna get a smooshed nose coming out of PNC this year,

    Don’t forget svech is going to miss time Niki is a drop in when he comes over and Pono can play all the minutes svech would have.

    I hate to say it but I don’t think we are bringing in TDA or Ek. Actually I don’t Pesce is better than either of them. This signing is baffling though. Why bring one of the dirtiest players in hockey to a not dirty team?

    Waddell playing paper roster. That said it should means Pono gets a chance.

    If we got Aho done this year we could have done both Pesce and skjei next year with the extra. And we don’t have to retrain two-three-four new players who might struggle at man. And knowing Waddell he’s going to end up overpaying too, instead of players we already have that we could keep cheaper longer and gain more trade value.

    I don’t want to move either Pesce or Skjei. People are down on them but their defense is ungodly most nights. We don’t need an offensive D line cause that’s all we could get. People also forget we play man defense. Too many new people too it are going to cause major issues.
