NFLPA Exec Director calls out the league over the turf
Harbingers replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Detroit for what ever it’s worth hasn’t seemed to have an issue with NCI. Minny thought I dunno. They are a lot newer. Outside of those two every dome should be able to put grass in. -

KC is still grass. -
NFLPA Exec Director calls out the league over the turf

Not just that but from my understanding any time Messi plays in the MLS it has to be grass. It’s written into his contract. You think American football stars are going to take that, that one soccer player gets to dictate the playing surface, sitting down? Nah. It’s simmering. -

Difference is this is something the rank and file care about too. The wheels are in motion now, there might not be any stopping this train. -

Was just coming here to post this. If I was a betting man, I’d say this is going to blow up as soon as this season. We very well may be looking at a strike or lockout if the NFLPA decides to take a vote on this. -
Some positive and critical thoughts on yesterdays game
Harbingers replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wasn’t even the turnovers that did us in. Was the shitty game plan adjustment for the second half. I was so hoping after Rhule we wouldn’t have to go down this road again. Ugh. Difference is I actually still believe in Bryce and Reich at this point. -
HEAVENS TO BETSY, LOOK AT THESE WIDE-OPEN RECEIVERS
Harbingers replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like seriously. Everybody is covered once the Atlanta D adjust… to a simple zone scheme. I want our OC calling plays next Sunday. -
Why people think Bryce will bust I have no clue. His only issue is his stature, which it seems like he’s working on bulking up. That aside I do think he has an accuracy issue right now. But it’s nothing that can’t be overcome in a few more games and better play calling.

That’s the million dollar question. But I don’t really take his statement as disputing, just framing it in another light. The issue is if he was taking and air playing photos to another device and skimming them himself. Even if there was nothing there or ill intent it’s still an invasion of privacy without consent.

And just to bring it all back around.

Somewhat. Yes, they could have fabricated it for clicks but I’m not so sure. The CBJ’s statements clearly miss the point. Which is if he did ask for the phone, or even if he didn’t but then hooked it up to a tv via streaming with him in control… that’s not really that appropriate. That’s the crux here I think and CBJ didn’t address that part. It’s pretty clear it came from an agent of a player. Probably not Boone. Will be curious to see how this shakes their locker room though. Not that they were going to be much competition this year still… but.

All-22 Review: Panthers @ Falcons [Week 1 - 2023]
Harbingers replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly I think we might have had too many long developing plays for him. He’s fast and he knows the book for sure. I hope to see faster route progression this time around. Get everyone else around him up to his mental speed, and then adjust them as a singular unit to the speed the coaches want in a given situation. -

Better route progression if that’s the case. He for the most part had all day back there. -

Also the fact that flag was throw by I believe the field judge, who ever was at our end zone is fugging insufferable. The Line Judge didn’t even pay attention to it. We got a rookie poo crew this game. -

And agreed we have Thielen this year. Let’s not waste that talent. He should be target #1. With Mingo seeming more action too. -

The blocking out of bounds flag was obviously horseshit. I do not like that ref we got. Don’t know who he is, but he is probably my least favorite ref now. -
I’m surprised he scored in the 40’s and more so nearer to 50.

Well this snowballed insanely quickly today. While this may be all it is, the story had to come from somewhere. Spittin’ Chiclets obviously went way over the top. I think there is probably some merit though hidden away judging by CBJ’s going damage control this quick.

Good showing from Zavala in first NFL Game
Harbingers replied to Memphis's topic in Carolina Panthers
The more I watch that I am just blown away by his upper body control of the DL’s for being a 4th pick rook. -

He seems great at controlling where the rusher puts their hands up to try and deflect. -
That one is a great learning moment for Bryce. Mingo was the obvious go to on that one considering our line of scrimmage. Get us out of the hole. Don’t go over the top to Thielen at this point in a young career. And you most certainly don’t throw the cross with a weak route in hindsight.

Jaycee Horn expected to miss multiple weeks
Harbingers replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
We need to bring in another corner if we are to IR(even short term) Horn. CJ is just not it. Ya he shows flash in the pan every once and again, gets a good interception, but he gets torched 10 times for every good play. -
Aaron Rodgers got hurt on turf… the Panthers switched to Turf
Harbingers replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Since the other Rodgers thread got locked before I could post this… Silver lining for the NFC, No comp first round for GB. -
Most underrated post in here.

No poo and even an MRI isn’t going to show damage until the swelling goes down at least 24 hours later.
