Ya I just don’t see us keeping him unless Aho is like TT is staying. We have so much potential and he’s going to want his end of career pay day.

He’s been to hesitant since he got his brain rattled… but now it’s a contract year and unfortunately probably his last year as a cane.

Ya if only the panthers could bring this. Unbelievably well coached, drilled to a T, massive but calm energy. It’s like this roster didn’t even miss a beat. I don’t hardly see any rust on our pick ups either.

It may only be 1-0 but the canes are firing on all cylinders. They are 100% dialed in.

Plus their massive roster turnover. Sounds like it’s probably Stamkos’s last year there too.

The Lightning are still a good team to see live. Though they may dip this year with turnover/injury. Hockey is amazing in person, if I could only pick one sport to watch live it would be hockey easily.

Dope. Would love for FUS to get some NHL regular season reps with the team before he heads back overseas. Looks like Suzuki and Pono haven’t been reassigned yet either.

Look forward to finally seeing the Bunting-Aho-Jarvis line. Going to be curious when svech is back how they readjust the lines. If they bump bunting down to 2 or if svech goes two. Either way TT or Martinook is going to end up on the fourth line. I know Rod will always be jumbling lines but as our base set at least. TT-Drury-Noesen would be essentially not a 4th line. On some teams that would be a second line. Also how we rotate our defensive personal with 7.

Looks like they are playing some of their starters. FF, Roman, Schenn, etc. not as full as their roster last night though. Doubt Saros will be in net though even though he’s listed as active.
