  1. Here’s the full rundown. Seems Rod is basically set in keeping the Orlov/Chatty line solid. Orlov has definitely hit his stride over the past couple games. I think give it maybe a month more and he’s going to start turning lethal now that he’s understanding the man system defensively. Aka burns last year.
  2. Lemieux is easily the new “Stepan”. Doesn’t play a lot but when he’s in and on he’s going to get us 1 a game. I did guess he’d get a goal… it just wasn’t the first one. I should have been thinking rationally Bunts on one basically guarantee’s him one a game too.
  3. Sounds like another pregame skate decision. Though I am feeling the Staal line… they are historically good against the islanders.
  4. Bunts still on 1. Svech on 4. Dunno if he’s playing or not. Not digging this if he is. Necas needs to be dropped to 4 not svech.
  5. @Anybodyhome that’s a far cry from his low point last year. Here’s to hoping he keeps it up.
  6. I’m more of the opinion, at this point it’s Pyotr’s net to lose. He did give up “2” in Philly. TT saved his ass on one. Doesn’t mean I trust Pyotr, but it’s the best option we currently have. We are in a tough spot. We need to play Pyotr to get him into a rhythm. But we also can’t let Raanta get cold if he is actually somewhat healthy before this Canadian swing, especially if he’s yipping. I still think he has a major injury probably inner thigh groin area. The last two times he did the splits, once vs. TB and once in his game before he was super slow to move or get up and in both games you could tell his mobility was hampered after that. The TB game his glove hand was nonexistent when it’s usually his biggest asset. If it was me I’d go Pyotr tonight, Raanta vs. Buffalo. Then every other in Canada. Starting with Raanta(hopefully off a win) so Pyotr can get a look vs. both Edmonton and Vancouver. Give us a real view at what exactly we are dealing with.
  7. It getting worse doesn’t predicate the future though. Imagine if he could have brought in his own staff plus Evero and started building the roster from the ground up, rather than top down.
  8. Gotta say cam hit the fugging nail on the head.
  9. This may already have its own thread. I’m not keeping tract of the the TB 2.0 right now… But. Should never have gotten rid of Wilkes. Tepper obviously fears others leaders. That’s not how you win sports. Also though his wardrobe is still, “wtf?” I’m digging this intellectual Cam.
  10. This but I think he’s starting to realizing having the loosingest franchise in any major sport since he bought the panthers is perhaps not a record for monetary success.
  11. Really class move by Philly. I’d say we should do that too but I’d be worried the kid would come out of our bench talking like a sailor.
  12. Haphazard maybe. I don’t think it’s laziness. I think he’s just trying not to do what he did last year and physically burn(no pun intended) out by the end of the season.
  13. I do find it amusing though we have literally been telling Tampa our scheme for this week.
  14. I like this graph format for the most part but it really does need to be noted it’s all situations. As basically the bottom half are PKers.
  15. Wait Mike wasn’t on the radio call? Do we got the flu or Covid going around the building or something?
  16. The two rumors I heard was that and he was dealing coke in the locker room.
  17. So Chicago finally came out and “debunked” the theory.
  18. That was by far our best game so far.
  19. Holy fuging Jarvy. I think we should add a .5 for those who gussied. At least until we get a full.
