Ya I’m not as down on Pyotr or the team as most people are. Caps are obviously going to want a shootout. Puck luck wasn’t on our side but we didn’t play a bad game. I feel like our momentum is building forward. I expect a rock solid team coming out of the holiday break.

I think this could be taken a couple different ways. To remind everyone else they bear responsibility too.. maybe they just aren’t cleaning it out until they know he’s cleared waivers. He was not at the morning skate today at all. The thought has crossed my mind that we lean heavy on Pyotr through the holiday break. Get Raanta some AHL time to build his confidence back up and if he improves bring him back up for round 2. If he’s not than reassess the situation.

All of 11 games in the professional circuit… ECHL level. 5-5-1 on a 14-7 team. It should be noted the they have given up the least amount of goals in the ECHL with 56 though.

There is no way Nashville moves Saros. They are sitting comfortably on the playoff bubble right now. The only way I could see it is if it was a deadline move if they fell off a cliff but even then I doubt it.
