I mean more in the fact you know SP at least had a hand in it. Aka “I need these other players, figure it out”. I agree I don’t think Payton had any hand in how it got done.

This sounds like SP tried to play his normal kick the cap down the road game to open up space for better signings this offseason for the future. Russell refused to play ball.

One things for sure. Rod was not happy with our second line last night. He probably had them skating LAPS today. There is like no chemistry on that line either so I don’t blame him. After their performance last night I’d flip flop and make them our 4th line and the current Drury iteration our 2nd line.

Jarvis was probably working on faceoff’s or was the youngin’ called in to fill in on 3v3 for second line or probably a bit of both. I don’t read too much into it.

Rod says Pyotr is the starter tomorrow. I feel like we are going to ride him for all three of these games unless he starts to dip… then ya…

KK is having to cover Necas too much, he’s basically playing 3rd high blueliner most of the time, when in reality KK should really be playing net front. Bunting is good but I feel like he’s struggling with the mandatory two way play.
