  1. He would still be a number 1 or 2. He and Stroud were a 50/50 shot and I'd have been happy with either.
  2. It comes from so many losing seasons. People just want the team to win. If we go 10-6, Bryce will be the hometown hero. Until then, he (and everyone else on the team) are under scrutiny for everything. Some of it justified and some of it is just from pure frustration.
  3. Is it the same folks saying Tepper meddles too much that want him to fire Reich? Are they two camps? It wouldn't surprise me if it is the same people.
  4. He had Michael Irvin too. Let's not forget that was Jimmy Jones' first year as a head coach. They went 1-11. The next year they won 7. I lived in Dallas at that time and the criticism was intense.
  5. Sanders just doesn't have the vision right now. I didn't see him play in Philly, but have a feeling he ran around the end a lot.
  6. I would count on it. Dolphins can beat a team in so many different ways.
  7. We played stout run defenses in New Orleans and Seattle. If you look at the Minnesota game, they often stacked the line on first down. As many as 7 players on the line. Everyone else lined up 10 yards or so from the LOS. They know our OL is struggling, we have a rookie QB and our receivers can't threaten them deep.
  8. If healthy, Horn has the potential to be a probowler. Sometimes injuries happen and it doesnt mean the guy is injury prone. Imagine if we had traded Thomas Davis after his first three knee injuries. Horn is young, cheap and can be a very good corner. Why trade that away?
  9. This board was calling for people to trade McCaffery for his durability issues long before it happened. It's exactly what they are doing with Horn now.
  10. Even moreso later in the game when the offense can't hold the ball for more than a few possessions.
  11. Vikes are keeping us in the game. We can't stop the run.
  12. We lost because we turned the ball over too many times. 2 ints, 1 fumble and 1 turnover on downs in field goal range. Not many teams can do that on the road.
  13. I think the ankle sprain was real, but if he had to play he could have. A short week on the road and a hostile place like Seattle as a rookie was safer to sit. If it had been a full week at home, I think he plays. I expect him for the Vikes.
  14. Me too. I noticed that against the Saints. I think it's being a rookie starting out against two of the better pass defenses in the league. Minnesota looks like a good game for him to get right. Their offense will be a challenge, but we should be able to run or pass on them.
  15. Vikings have a good offense. They just can't seem to keep teams from scoring more points. I think we lose this one too.
  16. They were wanting Pineiro fired after the missed extra point in Atlanta last year.
  17. Yes. They had a high ranked run defense and a low ranked pass defense.
  18. Yes. I thought they'd lean heavy on the running game, but they are letting Winston control the game.
  19. They are veteran starting QBs in this league. It's fair to use them as evaluations.
  20. Ryan Tannerhill threw 3 ints to them. Bryce so far is the only one to throw a touchdown against the Saints.
  21. This. Watching Green Bay and Jordan Love struggle against the Saints.
  22. Yes, he can. But football is a team effort and he is a rookie.
