I'd definitely trade him for a 1 or a 2. He is at best a 2nd WR. He is inconsistent and not dominant and sometimes just looks like he doesn't have focus. I am hoping TMJ starts to put it together this year. We need a guy that can be a red zone threat.
-
Doesn't he have consistent injury problems?
-
I think it's a legitimate concern. It's not when things are going good, but when getting ready to throw and getting his arm hit or in inclement weather, it could be an issue.

Offseason finally here. Let's get down to business.

Draft. My plan would be to stick with Darnold this year since he's already under contract. Build the Oline. if Darnold doesn't improve his play, we have a high end pick for a QB next year who gets the benefit of a better line. If FA, we need to look at upgrading safety, linebacker and tight end. -
How far would the Stafford led Panthers have gone?
parker replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think he would have done much better here. Maybe 2 or 3 more wins. Stafford could have made those same throws at the end and have half of them dropped. We don't have reliable playmakers outside of McCaffrrey. -
The perfect draft picks from last years draft

I'd still take Horn over Parsons. -
Panthers GOAT WR moving on up in the world.

Didn't realize he played for Baylor. Should he send us his resume? -
My thoughts exactly. Gonzalez made us forget the fear that Slye left us with when we had to kick a field goal or extra point. Abdulla was also a decent returner.

Small-handed QB argument sounds foolish on its face
parker replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
So, lets say he had kid size hands. Could he hold a football? Absolutely not. So there is a point where the size of the hands are going to become a problem. The argument is going to be where that lies, but there is no doubt that hand size can be a factor. FWIW, I always had to grip a football closer to the end. I noticed most NFL QBs grip it closer to the center. My grip would have been hard to keep from getting it knocked out or pulling it back down from a passing motion. -
Apparently, they did just enough. Kansas City won. They actually held buffalos defense to no points! (I know what you meant.)

What’s your pitch to Aaron Rodgers to come to Carolina

If you're a masochist, you'll love our Oline. -
I like Watson, but the 2019 Panthers held him to 160 passing yards and no TDs. That was the Kyle Allen led Panthers. He isn't Jesus and he isn't going to come resurrect or Lazarus offense alone.
-
I don't think the Panthers are devoid of talent. I think some of the problems we have on Defense were trying to switch to a 3-4 when we really didn't have the people to run it and then moving away from it after we drafted a few players that fit that mode. On offense, I think it's a jumbled mess. We really don't have that guy outside of McCaffrey. There isn't a guy that defenses have to worry about taking away because we don't have a stud at any position. Moore gets yards, but not TDs. I'm hoping Marshall can develop into that guy. While he wasn't outstanding this year, but neither were Moose or Smith their rookie years.

I don't agree. Buffalo had 4 quarters to stop the cheifs. Their defense failed. Is Buffalo's team only the offense? They played, they failed. Game over.

Bills and Chiefs is the one I really wanted to see.

Falcon's fans..."told ya so!"

Yes. Win now teams usually weren't 5-11 the last two years.

If we don't fix the Oline, I want Chris Collingsworth to come play QB. I'd enjoy seeing him get hit every play.

Damn, the bucs are losing. How will I ever sleep tonight?

Things couldn’t have set up better for Tepper and Rhule
parker replied to mcsmoak's topic in Carolina Panthers
I did not watch the Bengals game so can't comment accurately. But I don't think that's a pattern for long term success. You might shoot with your eyes closed and hit the target once, but that doesn't mean you should adapt that as a strategy. -

No they didn't. Their lineman were injured in the games previously.
