    Nope, still does not have the ability to be a franchise QB. He has shown improvement, but the bar is set very low. We’ll probably be rolling with him next year, is what it is.

    Got to agree with you, try to fix the OL and defense with this draft and then look for a QB between now and the ‘26 season. Still hope BY can improve, but don’t see a franchise QB in him.

    It’s going to be hard to assess him this year with so many injuries, going to have to give him a couple years to find out. Definitely didn’t like his play calling last week. I think you gotta give the guy a shot. It’s gonna be on the job training though.

    Breer and these other writers/analysts that are bashing the decision to bench Young are the same ones that voted to give him the heisman and sold him as the number one pick. Now they are going to die on the hill they made to cover their asses for a qb with no speed, arm strength or size.

    Who would want to come and coach this team now? It’s never a good move to take a job that sets you up for failure, especially if you’re young and starting out.
