  1. teams know that Burns is in a contract year. If the panthers cannot resign him before next offseason, Burns can walk for nothing. Therefore, if the panthers get desperate after not being able to extend Burns before trade deadline, they may be force to trade him. Unless a playoff teams get into a bidding war, we aren't getting much in return for him now
  2. a 2nd or 3rd is the best we can get now since we lost all leverage in trade
  3. negative x-rays means there's no fracture. doesn't seem like a high ankle because that is not the normal mechanism for high ankle sprain. most likely a medial ankle sprain and possible injury to muscle(s) in calf
  4. Pat Mahomes didn't start his first season. Rodgers didn't start till year 3. Cam started training camp his rookie year as 3rd string and worked his way up during camp and preseason. It's not about Rhule ignoring his rookie QB or his bs 50/50 reps for Baker and Darnold. It's about learning and earning your reps before being named the starter. The game is just too fast for Bryce as we saw these past two games.
  5. never understood why they gave BY the starting role prior to training camp. let him earn it instead of just handing it to him
  6. we put up over 1000 yards of offense in those 2 games. our defense in 2011 before Luke came was terrible
  7. drew Brees was always unstoppable with his infamous 2 hands reach the ball over the line on 4 and 1
  8. 2nd/4th/6th for Darnold 5th for Baker 3rd and 4th for Corral 6th for Gilmore 3rd and back up TE for CJ 6th for Daryl Johnson "oh wee mayne"
  9. its not a full surgery where they cut you open and operate which would require a few months to rehab and heal. but basically an arthroscope is when they make a few small incisions (a few cm wide) and place a small camera and other instruments to either clean up scar tissue and/or place sutures. commonly done for the knee and shoulder. cam had it done for his partially torn rotator cuff in his shoulder a few years ago. my educated guess is that Horn had partial tear in his hamstring where the muscle meets the tendon or the tendon partially ripped off from the bone near the knee. therefore, since its not a full complete tear, they could use arthroscope to suture the partially torn tissue together. recovery time depending on how well Horn progress would be around 6-8 weeks. if everything goes well, he could be back by late Nov. but its Horn we're talking about....
  10. Horn's "procedure" could potentially be an arthroscope and/or PRP injections
  11. panthers formula to losing: no halftime or in game adjustments defense getting tired in the 4th resulting in a big gain by the opponent offense repeatedly stalling from 3 and outs and/or turnovers bonehead special team play by one player late in second half bad clock management and wasting timeouts earlier in game penalty such as false start and/or pass interference at the worst situation controversial and sus officiating by the refs that favors the opponent on the game deciding drive feel free to add more
  12. knowing the panthers luck, if we took surtain instead. surtain would be the one always injured and horn healthy and balling somewhere else
  13. after what I saw on that one punt return, speed doesn't mean anything if you don't have awareness
  14. at this point, our offense should just run through Hurst since he's the only reliable option
  15. stretching doesn't prevent hamstring strains, like someone said above, Horn didn't do too much during the preseason and then was going all out in week 1. it takes time for muscles to adapt to heavy workload.
  16. crazy thing is Bates is a top 5 safety but he didn't do anything special. Bryce threw it straight to him both times
  17. shoulda have spent a few more million on foreman and still save money than spending more for sanders foreman and chuba were a pretty good combo and looks like we needed foreman on that opening drive 4th down run
