    I wouldn't say all players that are cut are bums. most are cut due reasons such as salary cap, bad team/scheme fits, needing roster spots for other positions, etc. if the players that were cut and were able to find a more suitable team/situation, they can provide more uses and services to a different team

    Players that did not start on PUP prior to start of training camp will need to go on the initial 53 man roster in order to be placed on short term IR (Sam Franklin, Dane Jackson, etc.)

    just keep Brooks on the PUP to start the first half of the season to make sure he's fully recovered and learn the playbook/pass protection he likely wasn't going to play much at the start of season even if he was fully healthy let Chuba earn his next contract
