  1. option 6b (or 8b), Trade a mid round and TB for Minshew. The Jags get their back up and we unload Teddy's contract. Then we trade back to get Jones. Do whatever it takes to get a starting LT with our next pick. build from there. If Jones does actually turn out to be a franchise QB, we win. If he needs a while, we've upgraded our QB (with Minshew) while gaining cap space.
  2. Quinn Meinerz at 113 would be pretty good. A year behind Paradis, in a NFL weight room and he could be a stud. Hell, we might could get away with starting him at guard this year. Sounds like he plays with a serious mean streak, plus his nickname is "The Gut".
  3. Not sure if you're joking, but Randunz is expected to go mid to late 2nd. Definitely worth a looksie. Dillon Radunz had a strong showing in Mobile, where he was named the Senior Bowl overall practice player of the week. He performed impressively at both tackle and guard. Furthermore, stepping up and facing higher-level competition didn’t phase him.
  4. I'm gonna need that list. I'm assuming that there are fewer than 85 nombres on it.
  5. So will whoever takes Hurney's job in WFT in a few years.
  6. Scott is cheap, decent depth and I still have hope that Daley makes a good LG. Little is bad. No way in hell we roll into the season with these 3.
  7. Probably a huge fan of Davis growing up. I hope he turns into another TD, and it's looking promising so far.
  8. About as much chance as Gross coming back to play LT.
  9. We got Roy in the 6th last year, and certainly impressed. Also, I did verify that Comp picks CAN be traded this year as well.
  10. I could get behind this type of deal. Worst case scenario, he's an improvement over TB. best case scenario, he balls out and we extend him after 2022. FWIW, cutting TB post June 1 saves us $8M, so it's basically an even swap.
  11. Truest thing I've read in a long time.
  12. A lot of CB and safety FA's available. Veteran DE would also be a good grab, as would RG.
  13. Absolutely, as @panthercouger68 pointed out, we just paid Moton's franchise tag.
  14. This is the main point. Fitterer is having to restructure immediately to lessen the Hurney contract damage.
  15. Agree! From a position value, LT is right behind QB. Having a 5th year option on one would be great. Also, Farley and Surtain can't be overlooked. Pride needs more time to develop, and Jackson, I think, is ultimately better suited as nickel due to his size. Drafting a lock down corner and moving him there would be upgrading 2 starters at once.
  16. I agree that anyone other than those 2 at #8 will be a reach, but I hate the idea of rolling with TB again. I feel doubly hurt because I gave him the benefit of the doubt when we signed him and he poo all over me.
  17. Too soon to call 2020, but I'm very optimistic. I think 3 years are required to make an informed decision, but I'm also the guy that looks online for a week before booking a flight.
  18. IF we decide not to QB at 8, there will be a lot of perennial all-pro talent sitting on the board. Gonna be a hoot to watch.
  19. A second rounder who will almost assuredly get drafted in the Top 10. It's a very strange year to need a QB, indeed.
  20. Jeez, I hope so. I was actually thinking, after listening to this video, that if Simms is right, and Lance is there at 35, they'd sprint to the podium. I still think he goes in the 1st though, even if he is QB #6.
  21. Crap, I watched that game, but forgot who the QB was. I cut myself opening a bookshelf after Christmas and that bitch is STILL in pieces. This man almost died and missed 2 plays.
