  1. CB would be my 2nd favorite position, behind LT. Right now, starting across from jackson we have a quickly declining vet, or 2 2nd year guts the, at best, need some serious time to get up to speed. A true lock down corner would be a Godsend, IMO. Edit; I didn't say QB, because I think 4-5 will be gone already.
  2. Hopefully the visiting team has a similar set up so that we can boo them and pelt them with garbage. Home side "the Vault", visitor's side "The Gauntlet" .
  3. It's kind of a refreshing chance of pace, ain't it?
  4. Can't call him an upgrade before he's ever played a snap, plus Moton has been solid AF. But, he would save about crap ton of cash over the next few years.
  5. Little, Jenkins, Radunz, Leatherwood, Cosmi. These are all starting tackles that have a decent chance to be there at 39. Sure, I'd much prefer Slater or Sewell, but I won't bitch as long as a starting LT is found.
  6. Although he's mainly played RT, he CAN play LT. I've seen him projected at the end of round 1 or round 2, if he makes it to #39, I'd be happy to take him, even if we do get Sewell or Slater at 8. Ultimately, I think Moton is playing hardball and will get a big payday from someone else next year.
  7. I can get behind him. A hard, physical runner to beat the crap out of defenses. Looks like a decent pass catcher who needs to work on his blocking. You thinking 3rd or 4th rounds?
  8. The telling quote from this article, IMO, “I have never seen quarterbacks get pushed up in the draft the way they’re getting pushed up this year,” said one middle-aged coach whose team is in the market to draft a quarterback this year. “Trevor Lawrence deserves to be the number one pick, but after that, in my book, there’s three receivers, a tight end and two offensive tackles ahead of the next quarterback.
  9. I'm going to go with winning.
  10. Anderson made similar comments about how much he preferred the Panthers locker room environment, although, TBH, he was reunited with Rhule, whom he apparently loved playing for at Temple. Speaking of Anderson, his yardage went up by over 300 last season despite sharing the catches with 2 other WR's who got over 1000 yards.
  11. I think we go LT at #8 and Erving competes for starting LG. Scott actually was not a liability when he filled in at LT last year, so he may give Erving serious competition at LT backup. Paradis was much better last year than 2019, but he still wasn't great and is getting old, so I really hope we can hit on a center in this draft as well. If Elfein can get healthy (big IF), he could be Paradis' replacement in 2022.
  12. 2 questions in, and I passed out!
  13. I did not come away with that feeling AT ALL. He didn't specifically say it wasn't though.
  14. If/when we cut Teddy, we would actually save money this year. If the right QB falls to #8, we don't pick it up, and he has $0 guaranteed, and a QB battle going on in camp.
  15. They have NOT made a decision about Sam's 5th year option...interesting. I didn't think that it was official yet, but had seen several sites saying that they would.
  16. Watching the Rhule presser, and can't stop thinking that HE looks alot like Kevin James.
  17. I absolutely LOVE the idea of taking a chance on a mid-late round RT this year. Let him play RG or back up Moton for a year and see what happens. Moton definitely wants big money, and, barring something extreme (knock on wood), will get it next year. I also like Randunz more than you, and would consider him at 39 if we don't get our LT in round 1. "Analysis: Radunz was an outstanding left tackle for North Dakota State and turned in three outstanding days of practice during January’s Senior Bowl. He offers possibilities at left tackle or even inside at guard in a zone-blocking system and comes with a large upside. While there may be bumps in the road early in his NFL career, Radunz will be a starter in the right system." https://www.profootballnetwork.com/dillon-radunz-nfl-draft-player-profile-ndsu-offensive-tackle/
  18. Mark Harmon. Bonus points because he's already in NO for NCIS, and he played QB for UCLA.
  19. I think this actually has a huge chance of happening. But I still think Fields goes at #3, which would leave us picking between Jones and Lance at QB. If THAT happened, I'd definitely get Surtain.
  20. Yep. Surtain would be the only only other guy in play for me if this happened.
  21. I get the hype, but, for the value, would rather have Freiermuth at 39. Good catcher, good blocker, solid play maker. IF we draft Pitts, I like Radunz as my #39 LT . To answer the OP, I would go Sewell, Surtain, Pitts, in that order.
  22. the fact that you noticed that, means you are gay in real life and are self conscious. psychology 101
  23. That's a nice mess of schoolies! I'm jealous.
