  1. This is my prediction as well, especially since Burrow requested him by name. I've been saying that we likely draft a LT at #39, so no reason they can't at #38.
  2. I definitely want 1, if not 2, in the mid-to-late rounds, especially if one of them has a shot at center. IMO, we get CB and LT in rds 1 & 2, then start looking to IOL, LB, FS, TE, WR. We should be able to find a starter/significant upgrade for 1 of those positions at 73, and a solid contributor at 113. Man, I hope we draft as well this year as it appears we did last. I'm all giddy with anticipation!
  3. Either way, Lance to ATL makes sense, assuming they go QB.
  4. He does have 2 more years on his rookie contract, so he's cheap AF. He actually might have trade value, if not much.
  5. Unless SF have their heads so far up their owns asses they can't see (a very probable situation), Fields WILL go at #3. 1 person says that SF is in love with Jones, and every other talking head regurgitates it for clicks. FWIW, I'm all in on LT or CB even if fields is available.
  6. whew boy, Pittsburgh is waaaaay back at 24. They'd have to bring a hellova offer. I'm still waiting for Miami to get cute with that #18 pick. They have 2 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd. They could surround Tua with 2 top 10 weapons, and still have another top 50 pick. We could have #18, #36, and #39.
  7. Also, Shaq is still out there busting his hump. He didn't sign the big contract, then get lazy; looking at you KK.
  8. I'd looked at brown during the Senior bowl after that video emerged. He'd be a guy I'd consider in case we don't work out a long term with Moton. A long, athletic RT that has only played that a year and a half, so is likely just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. A year on the bench, with good coaching and training, and he could get really, really good. Edit: Moore could be a starter immediately as a rd 4 pick, that'd be nice to have
  9. This was my thought, you can't double team them both. Don't worry, we added Reddick, Fox, and Perryman to YGM, Brown and Chinn...We'll get our sacks anyway.
  10. Nothing worse than a broken down hooker!
  11. All 3 of these, or Freiermuth would be good at 39, IMO. Obviously, depending on what we do in the 1st rd.
  12. let's not underrate the fact that Dj has constantly put up numbers while enduring piss-poor QB play, AND 3 other players had > 1000 yards last year. He was NOT force fed the ball.
  13. IF we trade back, I hope it's to grab a teir 2 LT ( Radunz, Cosmi, Mayfield, Leatherwood, etc.) and then double down with a G/C with the extra pick.
  14. Moderator, plz move this thread to the tits and ass forum.
  15. massive difference in position value. a good LT is just better than a great WR. I gotta side with Agent Blue on this one. I think WR is a luxury pick for us this year. We already have a great WR in DJ, a pretty fugging good WR in Anderson, and picked up a "not too shabby" TD machine in David Moore, 6 TD's and 18 1st downs on 35 catches last year. Granted, there's a good chance we lose either DJ or Anderson next year due to both being up for a pay day, but that's next year's problem.
  16. This was apparent to me as well. We're all hoping it's a loooong time before we pick top 10 again, and they wanted to take advantage. Plus Fitterer wants to hit big on his first draft. he's looking to come out of day 2 with 3 instant starters, and there's a good chance to pull it off. I think LT and CB are no brainers, but we could also get a starter at TE, WR, or DL on day 2. I left IOL off the list (even though it's very possible to get a really good G, or even a C here) because of all the offseason moves here. First we re-signed Miller, who was pretty good last year. We also immediately grabbed Elfin and Erving in FA. Both can play across the line. We also picked up Ivey, who will likely play G, if he makes the team. I also noticed that Daley is officially on the roster as a G, IIRC, he was listed as T last season. While most of us are hoping that we absolutely draft a young stud IOL, we really don't have to at this point. As you pointed out, with the depth of this draft, a good G can be found in 4th, 5th, even 6th round. Our best in recent history was undrafted!
  17. Yep, and still work on a long term deal, obviously. FWIW, his 5th yr option would be $11.1M. https://overthecap.com/fifth-year-option-projections/
  18. Miami gives us #18, #36, and #156 for #8. That gives them 2 top 10 picks to surround Tua with playmakers, and they still have #50 in the 2nd. There will still be several LT's not named Slater or Sewell at #18 that can start day 1. We also get 2 day 1 starters at 36 and 39 (at least 1 of those in the secondary I hope). Everybody wins!
  19. He made that poor CB for the Giants look like a joke. I forget, who's #24?
