Yeah, the safety ran in untouched, but OP was referring to Hoskins popping the center back 4-5 feet with the initial hit.

Any of you Gamecock fans know anything about Donnell Stanley? Decent sized C/G that TB just cut.
-
I have DJ, Anderson, Marshall, David Moore, Shi, Zylstra; in that order. Bayless makes PS if he clears waivers. As does Saunders. Cannon becomes our WR7, RB4, ST ace, all around good guy.
-
Smith WAS a cut. Also, I think Cannon is our WR7. I still have Chandler making the team as a 5th safety. He's having a strong preseason.
-
Did you watch the clip? Who is Haskins? I think you have the wrong guy. Hoskins is the guy that finishes the sack, #71. Big ole DT. The light in the ass guy is the safety who I'm pretty sure was Franklin on that play although Chandler apparently had a very similar blitz as well.

We're desperate for OL, and still cut him. -
CUTS - Panthers must be down to 85 players today

The Panthers placed Troy Pride Jr. on injured reserve Tuesday, the Panthers also released veteran fullback Rod Smith, waived/injured center Mike Panasiuk, and waived/injured linebacker Nate Hall. -

Kevin Donnelly Said Rhule Was Livid at the Half
shaqattaq replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Erving is the starter. And Moton is the LT2, according to how they've practiced. Scott, in practice, has been RT2, but I have a feeling that changed after Sunday. I'll give Scott props for how he stepped up last year, but we may all be witnessing his rather low ceiling. I still doubt he gets cut based on this one shitty game, unless Rhule wants to make an example out of him for the whole DBO mentality he's pushing so hard. -
Meh, he kept his hand inside and held the jersey "between the tits". O-line gets away with that more often than not. It happens somewhere just about every snap.
-
My ignore list is very selective; just a few over the limit retired coaches that don't matter.

Not trying to stir a turd, but I don't think that the pocket was collapsing in this scenario. To me, it looks like PJ just steps forward to give himself a better line of sight (he is short for a QB) and, more importantly, to let Marshall get more open. The DT DID turn Brown, but he actually never gets around him (that's a lot of man to get around). In fact, he comes up lame after the play. Either way, PJ does a great job keeping the play alive until his WR breaks free.
-
Either get cut or get DBO tattooed on his forehead.

Rhule was trying to "hold" the lead today ?
shaqattaq replied to JABANOG's topic in Carolina Panthers
I could when I was younger, but now I need a while to regroup. -
Can he be placed on IR from the PS? I tried googling it, and I'm not sure.

Cool. And Daley being out in addition to the starters likely affected it as well.

I'd like to see this option, even if we start with Current Starters: Erving-Elflein-Paradis-Miller-Moton. I have major concerns about Erving lasting all season, and think that Moton-Elflein-Paradis-Miller-Christensen is more of a when it happens instead of an if it happens. Christensen impressed enough yesterday for me to want to see him vs the starters.
-
Christensen doesn't concern me since his snaps came at 2 different positions. Quite the contrary, it tells me that the coaches have plans for him sooner rather than later. I wish I knew the breakdown between his snap count at RT vs LG. Due to alcohol consumption and declining interest in the 3rd string players' sloppy play, I didn't even realize that he had moved until mid 4th quarter.

Who/What are you watching for vs. Baltimore on Saturday?
shaqattaq replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes to all of the above. If Darnold comes out and plays 2 smart possessions, I've seen all I need to see. Bubble wrap him and let PJ have the reins. IF Erving can't go, put Moton at LT and let Christensen get some snaps at RT1. Chubba ran hard, but left some easy yards on the field with those drops. That will not do. What else? I am jonesing to see Tremble line up at h-back and lay some wood! It's unlikely that we see that much in a preseason (vanilla) game, but a boy can dream. I also want to see him catch more passes, that was fun to see! -
Announcers apologized for the crappy Fox coverage in Charlotte, but in Wilmington, it was spot on.

The good news is that they are depth, which gives them time to heal. Is Daley hurt, if so, does anyone know what the issue is?
