  1. FYI, he did play linebacker in HS per the OP VT played him at LB also according to nfl.com. ST gunner was the first thing that jumped into my mind when I read his profile and saw all that speed!
  2. About 11 minutes in, and they're looking at a fake to the RB in the flat to open up the WR. How sick is that going to be with CMC?!? You pretty much have to bring a CB down off the WR because CMC will make most LB's look stupid.
  3. I agree that unless Corral blows Sam out of the water in camp, Sam will start week 1. Rhule and company have invested too much in him not to see how he performs behind a much improved line. It's also probably not a bad idea to let your 3rd round rookie eases himself into the NFL.
  4. Most of the media is just regurgitating what someone else in the media already said. AND they appear to be looking more at need than actual talent available at the pick. Plus, QB's make headlines, they're the lead singers of the football world. Also, Howell probably decided to be a pretty good QB in a weak draft than a pretty good QB in next year's strong draft.
  5. He is until he isn't. Corral hasn't taken a single practice snap as a panther yet.
  6. Total guess, but I could see GB making that offer. They had picks 22 and 28, and went DT with pick 28. Seems reasonable in that we could have grabbed our QB on a 5year deal, but our Dline would be terrible without Brown, so I see the reasoning behind passing on the deal. Again, This is all just random speculation with me AND Walter football.
  7. The QB our staff wants. I don't have a clue who that may be. I'm pretty sure that I don't want to trade up for any of them.
  8. We did, lol. Seriously though, your logic is sound.
  9. I agree, BUT, I can easily see it happening if our QB hangs around.
  10. The Ravens just traded Lamar's favorite WR. I wonder how he feels about Robby? They're sitting at #45. Edit: I'd be willing to eat part of Robby's salary to make this happen @OceanPanther. I get that his trade value is pretty low with a $20M contract hanging around his neck.
  11. I forget, who was the useless jackass they picked #3 overall in 2018?
  12. Anywhere after #20, I'd be OK with it. I haven't done enough homework to have any late 1st round love interests this year.
  13. I'd take that deal all day. EDIT: I misread this. I thought we got their 2nd - #51, not their 3rd - #83. But I'd still take it. Hell, #18, #51 and Minshew would be a good haul.
  14. That would be a long list of desperate ladies...
  15. FYI, here's a list of their picks and their biggest needs (per this random article). FWIW, A few top CB's or DE's could easily be around at #6. List of Picks Round 1: No. 14 overall Round 2: No. 45 Round 3: Nos. 76, 100 Round 4: No. 110 (from Giants), 119, 128 (from Cardinals), 139, 141 Round 6: No. 196 Top Needs Cornerback – The Ravens are thin behind starters Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters, who are both coming off season-ending injuries. Anthony Averett, Tavon Young and Chris Westry all landed elsewhere in free agency and Jimmy Smith could retire. EDGE – Baltimore needs to get more pressure and sacks off the edge and is thin behind Odafe Oweh and Tyus Bowser, who is coming off a torn Achilles at the end of the season. Justin Houston is a free agent and Pernell McPhee could retire. Defensive line – The Ravens signed Michael Pierce in free agency, but still have question marks at both defensive end spots with Calais Campbell still on the open market and Derek Wolfe rehabbing from hip surgery. Offensive Tackle – The Ravens signed Morgan Moses to play right tackle but could still use more insurance if Ronnie Stanley isn't ready to go after a second ankle surgery. Center – Patrick Mekari is in line to be the starter after Bradley Bozeman left in free agency. However, Mekari's versatility could mean he fills in other places if the Ravens found a new starter at center.
  16. I'll give him that. He did look passable (pun unintended) at the beginning of last season. He played his heart out those first 4 games, despite being absolutely demolished in Dallas. It was nice to see someone play with a little passion after Teddy dialed it in the previous year. I think your right that losing CMC and Dallas making him think that he was still in NY broke his psyche.
  17. I doubt that, but I'd be OK if he played like a 3rd ROUND pick at this point.
  18. DAYUM, that video set my loins aquiver! Man has it all, speed, crisp routes, intelligence, work ethic. Maybe the Texans will want to trade up to # 6 to get ahead of ATL. I kinda like Byrd being one of their starting WR's this year.
  19. That was my thoughts, but I haven't done any real research at all this season. No one in the Panthers organization listens to me anyways.
  20. Fuggit! trade them Anderson's inflated contract for Mayfield's inflated contract.
  21. Dammit!!! I really wish this was the most honest thing I've read in a while!
