Stroud was salty panthers didn't draft him

Yeah, but everyone wants to be #1 off the board. -
Where does Moton rate among the all time CAR o-line players?
shaqattaq replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you never hear their name, an o-lineman is doing his job. I agree that if he played in a bigger market he'd get a lot more love. -
The franchise guy Carolina Panthers Deep Dive
shaqattaq replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pie just for bringing this clusterfug of a thread back to topic, AND for actually watching the video before commenting. We obviously have gone all in on offense, time for Bryce to put up or shut up. On defense we will definitely be watching the waivers to add depth to our LB's an secondary. The idea of Bootle or a late round rookie getting significant snaps WHEN Horn gets hurt scares the crap out of me. Evero will need to make chicken salad out of chicken poo for us do even be competitive. -
They both have lots of Dallas memorabilia on the walls behind them. And Fug fantasy football!!! The only fantasy I'm concerned with involves Scarlett Johansen and Salma Hayak showing up at my door with with a jar of coconut oil bottle of good bourbon .

He was on the board longer than most thought that he would be, in fact I actually mocked to us at 65. After having to wait that long AND falling onto a team that immediately makes him a starter, that is the perfect answer.

Panthers Select Chau Smith-Wade DB - Round 5, Pick 157
shaqattaq replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was hoping for DJ James from Auburn, but at least we went CB, which I like. -
No need to get cute about it. Just woke up to the podium first thing and pick Ja'tavian Sanders. A pass catching tight end is something we've been missing for years

Revisiting the Bryce Young trade…. Don’t open this thread

That really doesn't sound like us...

I doubt that he continues to drop to 39.

Right now there are 2 ILBs, 2 Centers and a few CBs that would be great picks. Hell, Sanders at TE is also an interesting option. ALL AREAS OF NEED. I'm giddy with anticipation! I'm going with the consensus and guessing Center or Morgan going after a stud ILB as my guess though.

Panthers Select Xavier Legette WR - Pick 32, Round 1
shaqattaq replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was thinking JPJ at 33 and best WR left (out of several good ones) at 39. But no one worries about the 5th year option on a center. -
According to Legette, Panthers will draft Legette at #33
shaqattaq replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I do question whether he's a complete moron though. I would assume that if the staff did say that they would have preceded it with "don't tell anybody, but..." -

Why TF would he (or the team for that matter) advertise that??? I smell BS! -
We have absolutely NOTHING else to mock them about. But yeah, feels kinda empty.

He definitely liked Mingo, but I don't recall him being big on TMJ. I could be wrong. He WAS a big time fan of DJ Moore. He was right.
-
I seriously doubt that we hit on all 3, I just meant that starters are commonly found at those positions. It would be nice though, wouldn't it?
-
I sure hope so!

Better. The only 2 players who we lost that we lost that I'm concerned over is Luvu and Bell. I think that their FA replacements are not as good. I almost included Bozeman on this list, but his pass protection last year was so bad that an often injured guard may be an improvement at center. Still need to improve... Secondary, ILB, WR, TE (as always), edge, and obviously center.

At 33 and 39, we'd be drafting the 4th or 5th best WR or CB or the top 1-2 C, ILB, or TE. What I'd like to see is someone that will be an impactful starter day 1.
-
Be careful, I was told yesterday that our defense was solid. While signing Clowney helped that, I still agree that CB, and ILB are big needs and day 1 starters can be found at 33, 39, and 65. The same can be said for C and WR (deep draft). I would love for those 4 positions to be addressed with our first 4 picks. I have a feeling that if the right ILB is there, Morgan will have a hard time passing on him.

In all honesty, I really like Franklin, hard not to. That 99 yard pick 6 last year was awesome.

Why, kick offs are being all but eliminated?
