  1. This is what happens to any team that is constantly replacing GM's. coaches, & QB's! We're not that unique, we're just the idiot team going through this crap right now. I have confidence that we may have found all 3 currently and are moving forward with building a competitive team.
  2. If we go 5-1 in the NFCS, we win the division!
  3. yeah, but I like that week 14 bye before 3 division games in 4 weeks. By then everyone is a little dinged up.
  4. IDK, the NFL will want to showcase Cam Wards debut. But I've also seen rumors that the Titans will open against Denver, not NO.
  5. The most telling sign, IMO, of a team on the upward swing is who we lost in the off-season. Who left that even saw the field? Woods, Clowney, Sanders, & Hekker. OK...no big deal. Clowney is the only 1 that I raised an eyebrow over and I get that it was a money decision. No need to pay him over $7M to take snaps from our draft picks when he was just OK last year.
  6. I'm actually a fan of drafting a RB in the 4th. I'm not schooled enough on day 3 RB's to argue whether there was a better option available, but I like what I've seen about Etienne so far. I think he beats out Blackshear for RB3, but is mainly a safety net for 2026. Chuba is locked in long term on his hard-earned big boy contract. Dowdle is coming off a 1,000 yard season and will be looking to prove it wasn't a fluke. It it was, he's a RB2 somewhere (maybe here??). It it wasn't a fluke, he'll get a big-boy contract elsewhere. Brookes... Who TF knows?!?! Even if he does come back, he's 2 years removed from play time. Etienne and he can fight for RB2, the other defaults to RB3. Both will be playing on cheap rookie contracts. Blackshear is meh.
  7. Honestly, I thought that all rookie contracts were already guaranteed.
  8. If they jerk you off at the end... they kinda are.
  9. If the escort rumors are to be believed, seeking "professional help" is what got him in this problem in the first place!
  10. Poll: Am I the only one that assumes this means hookers and top-shelf bourbon???
  11. Obviously, all "stacked" comments need to come with the disclaimer "compared to last year". I said elsewhere that when your coming from historically shitty... average looks really, really good! All 3 of those positions are light years ahead of the 2024 season! And that's good enough for me...for now.
  12. I officially nominate "Thomas the Turd waffle". All in favor...
  13. Yeah, I think Renfro and Moore are fighting for that 6th spot unless Horn struggles in camp. The loser goes to waivers. Really hard to know what Renfro brings to the table at this point other than a cool story and a guaranteed skyrizzi sponsorship.
  14. FWIW, I saw an interview where he said Nalo or TMac were both fine, just not T-Mac. no hyphen. Also, his mama hates "Tet".
  15. Yeah, I was more or less just wondering aloud. Maybe we can put him on that Nic Scourton diet.
  16. I really had high hope that Bozeman would be that answer. Solid player and all-around good guy. Still looking...
  17. This was also a weird draft because unless you were in the top 5, you weren't landing a blue-chip player. I think Dan handled it beautifully... got Tmac, the consensus best WR in the draft, 2 all SEC DE/OLB's, a solid SS, TE depth, RB depth, WR depth, NT depth (all positions of need). Hard to give it an A, IMO, because no 1 player wows me, but unless Carter dropped, no one was going to.
