  1. Not sure if you're joking, but Randunz is expected to go mid to late 2nd. Definitely worth a looksie. Dillon Radunz had a strong showing in Mobile, where he was named the Senior Bowl overall practice player of the week. He performed impressively at both tackle and guard. Furthermore, stepping up and facing higher-level competition didn’t phase him.
  2. I'm gonna need that list. I'm assuming that there are fewer than 85 nombres on it.
  3. So will whoever takes Hurney's job in WFT in a few years.
  4. Scott is cheap, decent depth and I still have hope that Daley makes a good LG. Little is bad. No way in hell we roll into the season with these 3.
  5. Probably a huge fan of Davis growing up. I hope he turns into another TD, and it's looking promising so far.
  6. About as much chance as Gross coming back to play LT.
  7. We got Roy in the 6th last year, and certainly impressed. Also, I did verify that Comp picks CAN be traded this year as well.
  8. I could get behind this type of deal. Worst case scenario, he's an improvement over TB. best case scenario, he balls out and we extend him after 2022. FWIW, cutting TB post June 1 saves us $8M, so it's basically an even swap.
  9. Truest thing I've read in a long time.
  10. A lot of CB and safety FA's available. Veteran DE would also be a good grab, as would RG.
  11. Absolutely, as @panthercouger68 pointed out, we just paid Moton's franchise tag.
  12. This is the main point. Fitterer is having to restructure immediately to lessen the Hurney contract damage.
  13. Agree! From a position value, LT is right behind QB. Having a 5th year option on one would be great. Also, Farley and Surtain can't be overlooked. Pride needs more time to develop, and Jackson, I think, is ultimately better suited as nickel due to his size. Drafting a lock down corner and moving him there would be upgrading 2 starters at once.
  14. I agree that anyone other than those 2 at #8 will be a reach, but I hate the idea of rolling with TB again. I feel doubly hurt because I gave him the benefit of the doubt when we signed him and he poo all over me.
  15. Too soon to call 2020, but I'm very optimistic. I think 3 years are required to make an informed decision, but I'm also the guy that looks online for a week before booking a flight.
  16. IF we decide not to QB at 8, there will be a lot of perennial all-pro talent sitting on the board. Gonna be a hoot to watch.
  17. A second rounder who will almost assuredly get drafted in the Top 10. It's a very strange year to need a QB, indeed.
  18. Jeez, I hope so. I was actually thinking, after listening to this video, that if Simms is right, and Lance is there at 35, they'd sprint to the podium. I still think he goes in the 1st though, even if he is QB #6.
  19. Crap, I watched that game, but forgot who the QB was. I cut myself opening a bookshelf after Christmas and that bitch is STILL in pieces. This man almost died and missed 2 plays.
  20. Good point. Chris Godwin, Allen Robinson, Kenny Golladay, Juju Smith-Schuster, Will Fuller, Corey Davis, Marvin Jones all outrank him (per the article), but half of those won't actually test free agency. By tagging Moton, we guaranteed that Samuel gets to shop around.
  21. Taking this discussion in a new direction with the other article mentioned by OP. I don't follow college football, but have read about 4/5 of these guys. Carman is a complete mystery to me. Any Clemson fans out there want weigh in on him? Is he good? What round? What about Rodgers, I've seen him mentioned as a decent slot guy before, but didn't watch him play? Here are five players and four pro days you’ll want to watch this week: NORTHWESTERN, MARCH 9 ▪ OT Rayshawn Slater Slater is one of the most versatile offensive lineman in the draft, and he’ll likely be the second offensive tackle to come off the board in April. He’s projected to fall somewhere in the No. 8-15 range. The Panthers need help on the offensive line, particularly at left tackle. If the Panthers don’t choose a quarterback in the first round, offensive tackle is the next likely option. CLEMSON, MARCH 11 ▪ WR Amari Rodgers There’s a strong possibility Curtis Samuel may not return next season as he enters free agency. If they can’t sign him, the Panthers may look toward the draft for a receiver. Rodgers finished with 61 catches for 845 yards and six touchdowns during his senior season. He could be a Day 2 or Day 3 pick. ▪ OT Jackson Carman Carman is said to be a potential Day 2 pick. And if the Panthers still have their second-round pick by draft day, Carman is a legitimate candidate. TEXAS, MARCH 11 ▪ OT Samuel Cosmi As mentioned before, the Panthers need an offensive tackle, and Cosmi is expected to be available on Day 2. “He’s a really solid player and incredibly consistent,” Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports said. NORTH DAKOTA STATE, MARCH 12 ▪ QB Trey Lance Here is a big one. Lance could easily be the Panthers’ future franchise quarterback in April. Nearly 30% of mock drafts have the Panthers drafting Lance, according to NFL Mock Draft Database, which aggregates drafts from various media sites. He will likely be available when the Panthers are up on the clock with the eighth pick, barring a huge pro day. “Lance, physically speaking, is really impressive,” Eric Edholm of Yahoo! Sports said. “He’s got that Dak Prescott-type of frame and athletic traits. If you watch his film, it’s fascinating.”
  22. I call BS. I'd take that deal even if we end up rolling with PJ in 2021.
