  1. didn't you ask him for a massage? Well it WAS blue jean Friday, and @Zod's feet hurt...
  2. Don't forget Carter did a good job at MLB last year as well when discussing depth. Haynes played well on limited snaps. I would love to see us go after a true FS (Xavier Woods maybe) and a veteran CB in FA.
  3. My hope (pipe dream) was that we could get a cheaper 1 year and get to pick between him and Anderson next year. Glad he got his money though. Too bad for him it with WFT. Ron misused him for years.
  4. They ARE almost at a Congress level debt now.
  5. They still might try to trade in front of us. Fitz only signed a 1 year deal, and would be a god mentor for a rookie QB that needs time to develop. Nice signing, the kind we should have done with TB.
  6. I like him too, BUT, the FA market is slam full of DE's. Shouldn't be hard for the team t replace him.
  7. Maybe these are the tier 2 guys that Rhule/Fitterer wanted. Why risk losing them to another team who's bargain bin shopping. I honestly had never heard of either guy an hour ago, so that's just a theory.
  8. If he's fully recovered from the MCL sprain he should be a step up from Scott, who's better than Daley, who's better than Little. I like that he and Scott can back up either side. I still fully expect to draft a LT.
  9. Thanks. I've been doing a little reading today, and it looks like Jordan may be a little less flashy as a pass-catcher that Freiermuth, but a better blocker. I like TE's who aren't afraid to smack someone in the mouth.
  10. Cross the tier 1 guys off our wish list and get cracking on our tier 2 guys before they get picked over. Nice strategy since we had so many roster holes to fill.
  11. Wow this deteriorated into another Mac Jones discussion quickly. Non -QB question, why do you like Jordan better than Pat Freiermuth?
  12. I always doubted the girls I dated too. Edit moved to the 3 dots in the upper-right corner.
  13. I’m starting to think there is a chance if the couple teams at the top that have a lot of cash don’t sign him. So many teams low on money that he might have a big market. I think we'll know one way or the other in the next few days. Even if the big money guys don't snag him, he may prefer to go to a team with a more solid QB situation or where he can be a #1 or #2 WR.
  14. Same, but both of these guys still ended up getting more than we wanted to spend, so no big loss.
  15. The options for next March: 1. NO cuts him. He still gets his $16 M, just over 2 years instead of 1. Unlikely, since it would still leave $7.75M dead money on their cap. 2. NO restructures again with a similar type deal so that me continues to get low-tier QB pay. This is most likely IMO. 3. Hill plays so damned well, that they have to let this restructure play out or give him, at least, a far more favorable extension. He's basically betting on himself.
  16. option 6b (or 8b), Trade a mid round and TB for Minshew. The Jags get their back up and we unload Teddy's contract. Then we trade back to get Jones. Do whatever it takes to get a starting LT with our next pick. build from there. If Jones does actually turn out to be a franchise QB, we win. If he needs a while, we've upgraded our QB (with Minshew) while gaining cap space.
  17. Quinn Meinerz at 113 would be pretty good. A year behind Paradis, in a NFL weight room and he could be a stud. Hell, we might could get away with starting him at guard this year. Sounds like he plays with a serious mean streak, plus his nickname is "The Gut".
