  1. Right? Irving is our starting LT going into camp. Greg has a 50/50 chance, at best, of making the team.
  2. And we signed him for 2 years, $6M! Not too shabby.
  3. Love that our staff recognized our limitations in the red zone/ 3rd downs last year and went out and grabbed a guy to fix that. He's our best FA pick up on offense.
  4. Is this a good time to reminisce about the fact that Chase Winovich was drafted with the #77 pick we traded to move up for Greg Little? Dude's a beast.
  5. Hard to guess what Brady's going to get up to this season. Last year CMC was out except for early on, and TB didn't have the arm to really threaten the long ball. He went for the easy, quick pass and let his receivers run up YAC.
  6. Our offseason, draft included, was all about addressing the red zone. Moore had 6 TD's on 35 catches, Arnold had 4 TD's on 31 catches, and Marshall had 10 TD's on 48 catches in 7 games. Add in an improved O-line, a h-back who wakes up looking for someone to block, and giving CMC ample time to heal instead of rushing him back in, and we should score a bunch more TD's. And I still haven't mentioned Sam being a scrambler.
  7. I'm still 50/50 on David Moore being ahead of him. I think he's a very talented player that should have been gone long before 59, but I still consider WR a luxury pick. As you point out, there's a lot of weapons ahead of him. I'm going to be a little more optimistic than you, and predict 500-600 yards and 8-9 TD's. His height makes him a red zone target, and he's also wicked fast with a QB that can actually pass it 40+ yards, so he'll get a few long TD's.
  8. He still has almost $15M left on his contract for the next 2 years, but none of it is guaranteed. So he may be willing to restructure with whatever team picks him up.
  9. Already decided that his might be my next jersey.
  10. Ian has definitely not produced as we hoped he would, But I'm looking at Tremble as an upgrade to Armah and Manhertz this year. Manhertz had 12 catches for 142 yards and 1 TD IN 5 YEARS AS A PANTHER, but was kept around for his blocking ability. Armah (a TE in college) had 8 catches for 29 yards and 21 carries for 35 yards and 3 TD's In 4 years as a panther. So, even if tremble doesn't develop as a pass-catcher (I think he will), he instantly improves 2 positions, and allows Brady to get a little bit more creative with the play book.
  11. They should have tanked that final game against us so that they would get a better pick this year. We all know that losing is the only way to get better! am I doing it right guys??
  12. Marshall never would have been there at 59 if he hadn't had a bit of an injury history. Who better than his coach at the time to know the extent of those injuries? I envision Brady jumping up and down screaming for him to be the pick when it turned out he was still available.
  13. ding, ding ding! He was my guy at 39, so I was stoked when he was there at 52. and then we traded again...
  14. I also heard a lot of praise for Elfein once they picked him up.
  15. I only watched the Bills game so far (stupid Zoom meeting), but 2 things are immediately obviously; No one is going to block, and Crowder is the only guy open. Coming from an offense where the opposing D-line does whatever it wants and only 1 receiver has to be covered...Sam has got to be like a kid in a candy store.
  16. The more of these videos I watch the more excited I get. I get that his stats have been abysmal, and everyone has a highlight reel, but I really think he has first round talent. The elephant in the room is whether or not our staff can coach him up to that talent level. If he'd been that bad for anyone but the Jets, I'd be a lot less excited about the upcoming season.
  17. There were a lot of upset people on my couch during that time.
  18. not at the 190 lbs he weighs now. Perfect size, he's our new FS.
  19. That IS a bold thought. I was thinking similarly, since he and Marshall have a very similar skill set, but remembered that he and Sam actually had decent chemistry in NY. Might be nice for Sam to have him around, plus, he's a Temple guy. He did piss off Sir Purr though, so he could be on his way out!
  20. With the injury history of our o-line, I was thinking the same. The good thing is that several of them can paly multiple positions well. I see DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, Terrace Marshall, David Moore, Shi Smith, Brandon Zylstra. with the first 4 as locks.
