  1. Not an overstatement at all! but, I disagree with Orlovsky's opinion that he has to play like a top 5 pick for us to win 10+ games. If he can just look like a mid-tier (top 15) QB, we can very likely put up 10 wins, and make the playoffs. I also think he has, at least, that potential if the line can keep him out of the grass.
  2. At this point, we have to assume that Christensen will start somewhere on that line, even if the coaches haven't figured out where. Also, Miller and Moton held the right side down like bosses last year. Things aren't as bleak as PFF makes out.
  3. No, no one remembers them. Hell, no one knew their names then.
  4. If you'd told him he was the first, maybe he'd have been more gentle with you.
  5. Hell, I can't pull out of a parking spot!
  6. They have all the good tape on the rest of the NFL. I wish they'd release their stuff.
  7. That is the only acceptable answer from any athlete. I love the attitude. He's not going to say that he expects get beat out by a UDFA that we picked up off waivers last year or a rookie.
  8. I tend to get a few who-the-fug-was-that moments, especially when they start bringing up PS players to replace injured guys.
  9. Maybe our D got so much better that they leapfrogged the Offense, glass half full, lol.
  10. 47, assuming they're all correct. Not too bad. I'll be able to keep up with all 53 (if not evey #) by game 3.
  11. short version; Christen hopefully wins LT. But if he doesn't, he's the defacto LG
  12. On the line, definitely. We brought in 2 serviceable FA's, picked up 2 rookies (3 if we count Christensen, but I hope we don't), and have a healthy Daley back. LG was supposed to be his to lose last year until that entire side of the line got hurt. Someone should stick, and be much better than Reed.
  13. I think your line up makes a lot of sense, but the wild card is going to be Erving. Christensen should definitely start, but it remains to be seen whether that will be at LT or LG. Erving, Daley, and Elfein will battle for the position he doesn't win, with Scott in the race for LT. Without seeing a single practice snap, let alone one in pads, I see this being the starting line up: Christensen - Daley- Paradis - Miller - Moton With Elfein and Erving backing up the guards and Scott being backup at both tackle spots. Elfein will be backup center. I do think both Moore and Brown make the team, but doubt they see a lot of action unless there are injuries. Scott - Christensen - Paradis - Miller - Moton, IF Christensen doesn't win the LT spot.
  14. I think he'll be on the field a bunch, but not get many targets. I'm already looking forward to the post-season compilation of him laying defenders the fug out! Robby and DJ's YAC will be insane with this guy's open field blocking.
  15. I've seen his size mentioned as the determining factor more than once. Nickels are usually smaller than the outside CB's. I actually would love to see DJ and AJ flip-flopping back and forth from slot to outside. Keep the opponents' passing game guessing.
  16. wait!! They practiced the 2 minute drill AND red zone??? I call BS.
  17. More T&A is what the site needs! whatever happened to the T&A section anyway???
  18. Especially when you look at all the pass rush talent that was brought in this off season. Nixon, Fox, Jones, Reddick...
  19. Rhule brags on you, that's the kiss of death.
  20. Love this post. We don't need 7 rookie probowlers for this to be a hell of an off season. I also like the idea of 2nd round graded LG that will compete for (and win IMO) LT. It's too easy to get overly excited about the newbies and start having delusions of grandeur for all of them. The truth is, we have improved every single aspect of our team this off season; secondary, LB, DL, OL, QB, RB, WR, TE, Hell, even ST looks better.
