  1. Burris might not be great, but I'm not sure I like the idea of rolling with what's behind him. Won't claim to have looked, but from what I understand his contract isn't all that expensive. FYI:
  2. Yeah, I think Elflein or Daley are the plan going into camp, but Christensen may just beat them out by week 1. Nothing really to support that yet, but he was drafted to vie for starting LT, so I have to think the talent/athleticism is there. Having seen film on Scott, Elflein, and Erving, nothing about them screams franchise starter. Daley is a wild card, because we really haven't seen that much from him due to injuries (both his, and being forced out to LT because of other's injuries).
  3. This guy is getting a lot of camp hype. He could be 3rd RB, 6th WR, KO returner, and gunner. That is the kind of versatility you need in a bottom of the roster guy.
  4. week 1: Erving, Christensen, Paradis, Miller, Moton My fondest wish: Moton, Elflein, Paradis, Miller, Christensen. having bookend tackles locked down for years to come is a fantasy I almost dare not dream.
  5. Not trying to turn this into another of those threads, but I really hope Darnold and Horn play their asses off this season.
  6. I immediately loaded the old John deere in the truck and went to cut his damn grass! I wasn't getting on his bad side!
  7. Tell her to use that damned cowgirls blanket she put on your bed to dry her tears! then duck.
  8. Also, being from Wilmington, I can attest that is hotter than 2 squirrels fugging in a wool sock.
  9. So many things fall into judging linemen, scheme, who's lined up beside them, etc. BUT, when I was watching Darnold film from last year, Elflien passed the eye test as a good guard IMO.
  10. That's a tall order for week 2 of Horn's rookie season. It'll be frikin awesome when we play them week 16! Best showdown since Norman vs OBJ (hopefully without the blatant disregard for safety).
  11. As I said in another thread earlier, we SHOULD beat them even with Thomas with everyone they lost since last season, but this certainly makes it easier. Just like losing Julio makes ATL a weaker team.
  12. Some in here would throw Mathieu money at him since we have plenty of cap space now, SMH. Edited 1 minute ago by stbugs I'd rather try to entice Malik Hooker to a short term, prove it deal. He's been pretty good when healthy. Problem is, he's only healthy 20% of the time. OR, hold out to see who gets cut.
  13. I hate to see (almost) anyone hurt, but a W is a W. This is good news for us.
  14. So, 3rd in the NFCS. Obviously, TB won the big game last year, and kept virtually that whole team, so I'd say they're picked to win the division. Does he have us behind NO, who lost a ton of pieces on both sides of the ball and has a h-back as a QB? I honestly can't see them being that good. devil's advocate... their h-back has played better than Darnold the last couple of seasons, but I still see him as a gimmick player.
  15. Nice logic. I'm fine with anyone being against the Sam trade, Lord knows it confused me at the time, but the "Sam is trash" comments just strike me as BS trolling. Your opinion is well thought out and nicely presented. Let's all hope your wrong
