  1. It's kinda like having the second biggest pecker at a Cub Scout meeting. Even though it's true, it s not really a good thing.
  2. I assume that's his wins per season. To be fair... the question only asked about 2020, and I doubt he accomplishes that former glory. I simply say that if he plays like a starter, he should get paid as a starter. It's up to him whether he does that this season.
  3. Agree to disagree. He wan games in 2020, winning a playoff game. This ain't your fantasy league Hoss, winning is the only stat that matters.
  4. He balled out in 2020, 3563 passing yards, 26 TD's to 8 int, lith a wildcard win. The browns were a good running team that year as well (kinda like we keep saying we want to be), with Chubb rushing for > 1000yds and Kareem Hunt going for 841. If he can recreate that, I have no problem paying him like a mid-tier starter. EDIT: That's a damned big IF.
  5. No idea, If he's not, he's not under contract. If he plays well, we end up drafting in the 20's and fill one of the many other holes on the team.
  6. Everyone hates Cleveland, even Cleveland! He's betting on himself, he knows that he starts here, and is thinking about that NEXT big contract.
  7. I believe, with this move, the Darnold era is officially over.
  8. You obviously think Baker is going to be bad. That's the only way you can come to this conclusion Not at all. If Baker balls out, we try to resign him. If he sucks, we've lost very little because Darnold already sucked. I think that in reality we're going to get something in between. Baker will be average, which will win us a few more games, make Darnold immediately obsolete (if he wasn't already), and means that we don't have to throw Corral to the wolves.
  9. you are high 2020 he had Chubb at RB, and OBJ and Jarvis Landry at WR. I can't comment about his O-line, but he certainly had weapons-a-plenty.
  10. We now have the #1 and #3 picks from 2018. As place holders until Corral takes over mid season.
  11. I can only assume he meant Ray Lewis.
  12. "shockingly underwhelming" absolutely describes the last 2 years.
  13. I don't know if he'll qualify as most improved since he was one of the few bright spots in the last few seasons, but I expect Moton to ball TF out now that he actually has talent beside him in Corbett. So I'll pick: leap - Tremble or Nixon. Both were solid as rookies and are set to get bigger roles this year. fall - I'm going out on a limb with Elflein, because I don't think he was THAT bad once he moved to center. He wasn't THAT good either. I don't see him being much of a factor at all this season unless there are injuries. Christensen, Mays, and Brown should be ahead of him at LG and Bozeman took his C role.
  14. They should have let Icky paint, He grew up a panther's fan.
  15. Yea, but there are so few of us. I'm curious as to who the other 28 are (Moton, Kirk, Tagovailoa, Garopollo). Stupid pay wall!
  16. He was very good for the 3 games he played (3 of the 5 that we won coincidentally), but I need to see more. I can see him start to garner national attention if we win a few.
  17. Also, he stayed in a shootout, without weapons, with a Bama team that had 2 WR's, a QB, a RB, and 3 O-linemen (and a CB that I wanted instead of Horn, hope I was wrong) go in the top 37 of the 2021 draft. FYI, Evan Neal was the "other" lineman on that squad. Alabama Draft Recap Player Pick Team Jaylen Waddle 6 Miami Dolphins Patrick Surtain II 9 Denver Broncos DeVonta Smith 10 Philadelphia Eagles Mac Jones 15 New England Patriots Alex Leatherwood 17 Las Vegas Raiders Najee Harris 24 Pittsburgh Steelers Landon Dickerson 37 Philadelphia Eagles Christian Barmore 38 New England Patriots Deonte Brown 193 Carolina Panthers Thomas Fletcher 222 Carolina Panthers
  18. Agreed, but a stout O-line and a good running goes a long way towards "simplifying" a QB's reads (even if we do start the season with Sam). We made substantial improvements in both the line and RB's.
  19. Honestly, this video makes it sound like most of it comes down to Wayne Gretzky being a little bitch. I don't care if you are the great one, you don't screw with a teenager's future.
