I agree with you, if Horn or even Jackson are available for this game, we win easily. Take away those three long touchdowns for Evans and we owned them. And that's with Darnald, who is a backup QB / game manager.

The only outrageously bad call by the refs that stood out to me was on the last kickoff where they backed us up even though it was obvious that there were multiple fouls on the bucs. I think part of Brady looking almost human this year, despite being a damned good quarterback, one of the best ever, is that he's not getting a roughing to pass or call every time someone comes close to him. BTW, I think our cornerbacks loses the game even if the refs hadn't tried to seal the deal there at the end.

I haven't watched any college ball and don't dig into the draft until the season is over, which I guess it is now. So I don't know actual players yet but we need help at cb, lb, and de more than quarterback at this point. Especially if we keep Wilkes as HC. He's a strong defense/good enough offense kind of coach like we've always had. BTW... I still think tremble can be a pass catching te.

I appreciate your support for our guy, you're a good fan. But... CJ is decent backup at best. He's been a liability all year, and his entire career. I don't even hate the trade, it was a Gamble on a former first rounder. But he hasn't shown me anything that makes me think he should be a starter in the NFL.

Henderson is decent depth, Jackson is good but too small to take the daily beating you get in the NFL, and Horn is elite but apparently fragile. At this point, I want us to go defensive end and CB with her first two picks. Donald looks to be a decent game manager if we keep the line elite and I still believe in Corral. If I'm wrong, 2024 QB class looks better than 2023.

at this point, I'd rather see what corral has. We desperately need a pass rusher, and a cornerback. Henderson should not be starting, and Taylor should not be on the team.

Big loss. The guy was playing lights out. Entering Week 16, he had allowed the fewest receptions (23), the fewest receiving yards (216) and the lowest passer rating (39.4) amongst all starting corners.

If he'd take $8M, run don't walk to sign the contract. He worked his way through a cheap rookie contract with the Ravens and signed a cheap 1 year prove it deal with us, so he is definitely looking to get paid. He's not just some bum off the street though, he's a proven, 4 year starter. $12M seems a little high though, I expect the actual number to be around $10M, maybe with some incentive, high guaranteed money thrown in to entice him.

We had a pretty good team with a sh-t coach. Now we have a pretty good team with a pretty good coach. I know that Tepper specifically said that he wanted a young, offensive and Wilkes is an old, defensive coach, but, IMO, it should be Wilkes' job to lose.

As long as we don't have to depend on him to win us the game, i.e. wining the time of possession, take aways, and dominating the line of scrimmage, all he has to do is be a game manager. If he can do that, we can win.
