I assume the corresponding move will be Darnold to IR. -
Panthers sign K Eddy Pieneiro to 1 year deal

Yeah, but we were just trying to find the best short term solution. Gonzalez is still our guy next year. makes sense to go with the seasoned vet. -
I think Lovett makes PS. He ran well and, more importantly, had good hands in preseason. Hell, I was half expecting him to make it over Hubbard, who has bricks for hands. Also, Shenault and Ricci will get some designed runs.

Ain't she a beautiful sight?

Panthers trade for wide receiver Laviska Shenault

Fuggit. Throw him a screen and watch him go. He's got decent hands and loves to hit people. I can live with that! -
YOU CAN'T COACH SIZE!

Hard to imagine him being worse than Jordan.

Christian Covington,

Saunders & Roberts is my guess. If there's a third then Zylstra but I doubt it. Moore, Anderson, Shenault, Smith, Higgins, & TMJ is solid AF!
-
He's better than Lovett tho. C'mon. I'm not so sure that he is though.
-
He was good in the last game. PS I hope.

I gotta admit, I wanted him bad. Glad that my mock drafts are infamously big ole steaming piles of crap.

ESPN 1st Round Pick Preseason Reviews(LT only Edition)

If we had drafted him, he'd be playing LT. (he was #3 on my list, but I thought there was a good chance Icky and Cross would be gone) -

Don't the Giants (no pun intended) have Neal playing RT? -
Predict the initial 53 man roster for 2022

Mays played RT in college. I would bet money that that he could beat out Daley as a back up. BTW, I missed the game Friday but know he took numerous snaps at Center. How'd he look? -
DJ, Robbie, Shi, & Higgins is a solid core. A lot of others pushing for those last 2 (or 3) spots.

Aqib Talib is a HORRIBLE HUMAN WHO I HOPE GOES TO HELL
shaqattaq replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, I would assume from all the Law and Order I've seen over the years that he's at least an accessory, if not charged directly since he started the fight. Hell, starting the fight is assault. -

I was planning to pie for the title alone, then I saw the video. If there is any justice, he pulls time. -
I want to pie you for this, but I just can't bring myself to click the icon.

Brian Baldinger breaks down the Panthers' offensive tackles

Icky has a meanness/size/attitude that you can't coach. That's one of the reasons why I think his ceiling is so much higher than Christensen's. He was my pick from day 1 if he were there. It didn't hurt that he was the only one of the top 3 that I had seen play. I don't watch much college football anymore, but definitely grew up a State fan, so I try to catch a few of their games. -
Brian Baldinger breaks down the Panthers' offensive tackles
shaqattaq replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
From his draft profile: The pass protection has seen rough patches over the last two years and that might continue until his hands and feet start working in unison. Punch timing and independent hands should bring immediate improvement, but getting him to play with better focus and control in his pass sets will take time. We knew that he was a monster in the run game but needed to refine his pass blocking, which works for us since we're claiming to be a run first team. That's why I wasn't concerned when BC was getting starter reps over him in camp. Frankly, he was playing better. I have no doubt that Icky's ceiling at LT is miles above BC once he pulls it all together. Having too many starting caliber tackles is a good problem to have! -

If you're NOT talking about a lineman, that's a good thing. -
I give it 6 months before he's accused of wagging his pecker at someone else.
