Man, I hope to see this a few times every game! I was all about pass rush in the draft but am excited to see these 2 develop together. -

Lilly has our TE room feeling fiesty! -
The Panthers brought in another kicker Tuesday, as Eddy PiƱeiro manages an injury that could cost him some preseason time. The team added Matthew Wright after a pre-practice workout Tuesday. Wright has kicked for the Chiefs, Steelers, and Jaguars in his career. He was the guy who helped the Jaguars snap a 20-game losing streak in 2021 when he hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal against the Dolphins in London. He's appeared in 23 games in his career and is 40-of-46 on field goals and 35-of-37 on extra points.

I think Shi just won the lottery. Of course, Jennings has been making a lot of noise at camp, and Saunders and Wright are always on the fringe of making the roster. So who knows.

I love a WR with a skinny ass...and hate a woman with one!
-
If so, could be a career ender for a 30 year old WR who's known as a "speed guy".
-
Bye bye Birdie. I hate it for him, I've always routed for the guy. I had him being the 6th WR making the roster.
-
We really need him to develop as a pass catcher! He was seldomly used that way at Notre Dame, but doesn't mean he can't learn.

James Campen as well, but they were definitely exceptions to the Rhule Ironically, (or maybe not) these 2 exceptions were kept around by the new regime. Reich recognizes talent.

Good link showing names, depth by position

Whew, glad I'm not crazy. -
On 3rd and long, Burns and Houston are obviously on the field. Johnson and YGM are bigger bodies to put against the run. Haynes was a shoo-in prior to his injury. A lot of young guys fighting for a few spots. I hope they all get a good look the next 3 weeks.

Same here, but I like that Rowe can play all over the secondary. Also, I thought we cut Deonte Brown already. I was surprised to see him on the roster. -

If you found last season funny, I bet you giggle your butt off at SPCA commercials. -
A rap battle between Olsen and Ked would be epic!
-
question is...did you pass those digits to the Topcats?
-
lightning fast, big black cats, Panthers kickin ass...

Erving does seem to play (slightly) better on the left, but I hope we don't need him to take many snaps (if he makes the roster). That's the kind of thing that could wreck a season.
-
long term, I agree. Mid-game, I think you bring in Cam to finish it out. I've never been a fan of moving your starting G to T (or C, for that matter) as it weakens 2 spots on the line. FWIW, I think Mays mainly played RT at Tenn.
-
I may have missed something, but has Jensen been taking meaningful snaps at tackle? I see Irving as a mid tier veteran swing tackle, and had him making the roster and hopefully never playing. I think BC and Mays can back up LT and RT respectively, but I've never been a fan of moving a starting guard to be a backup tackle because it weakens 2 positions. And as of right now, those are our 2 starting guards (until Corbett comes back).

Dang! He ate Dalton's lunch last year. 9.5 sacks in 2022 and he missed 3 games!
-
No Zavala? He's on the mend. He'll be practicing in the next few days according to Reich. I don't know much about Coleman, I admit.
